Managing multiple simultaneous priorities across marketing, sales, regulatory, and product launch timelines can be demanding at times, especially in a highly regulated industry. That said, it also strengthens organization, prioritization, and teamwork across departments.

Seaford Pharmaceutical has been an integral part of my professional journey. I joined Seaford eight years ago . The company's commitment to innovation and quality allowed me to effectively communicate and promote their pharmaceutical products to a diverse range of medical professionals.

During my time at Seaford, I witnessed the company's dedication to excellence in the pharmaceutical industry. Their emphasis on research and development consistently resulted in cutting-edge products that I was proud to represent. Additionally, the supportive work environment and valuable training opportunities greatly contributed to my personal and professional growth.

In summary, Seaford Pharmaceutical provided me with an enriching journey, where I contributed to a meaningful industry while nurturing my various interests.

This company has enjoyed 25 years of success, however they are stuck in the past and probably have a limited future. 

While their products are good, this family run company resists changes proposed by the very good Director of Sales to bring the company into the 21st century.

There is great dissent within the ranks of management. They will not spend the money on effective marketing materials. They had not updated marketing materials in 3 years, and supplies of these materials is inconsistent and unreliable.

They are frequently out of a supply of samples, are forced to use stock sizes of samples, and frequently out of stock of their best product. 

Pay is low for the industry, the bonus structure is a joke (few reps have ever made bonus in 25 years), and the medical benefits package is meager.

I think stress is the time to select the priorities. I enjoy working with stress which is important.

I feel like it’s a family environment and each one cares about others.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Starting with solid plans and visiting clients to satisfy their needs as well as to achieve the company goals. There is no time limit rather than a great flexibility.

I have been working at Seaford Pharmaceuticals for over 6 years and have enjoyed every minute of my time here.  I have great leaders in Management that I can always go to for any concerns or questions and know that it will be addressed in a timely fashion.  My co-workers are the best and the bond that we all have make it an amazing and fun environment to be at work on a daily basis. We all work hard and get rewards whether it is from having monthly events for example Potluck lunches with theme for around the world or wearing pink in support of standing against bullying or just having to guess movie titles.


Seaford has a great team able to help you and support you in all the ways possible. 

The managers are very open to talking in a transparent way. 

Your voice is heard, it is an inclusive and respectful workplace, that feels like a big family.

It has a high quality of the product and very knowledgeable Sales representatives.

Is a Canadian Company where that gives the opportunity to local/newcomers/foreign workers that want to grow up in the Pharmaceutical field.

There is a fast turnover of sales people in Seaford due to unethical and unprofessional practices and attitudes of some managers. The morale of the salespeople is very low, upper management only cares about achieving sales targets but unattainable, as their main products are almost always out of stock. This is not the company you want to work for. Stay far away, it’s a waste of your time. 

In September 2022, I started an internship at Seaford Pharmaceuticals. The staff is very friendly and welcomed me with open arms! This company is allowing me to see what it's like to work in the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare. As a product development intern, I've had the privilege to do research on products and understand the process of how ingredients in the medication. I'm also learning many skills such as communication, critical thinking, active listening and collaborative skills. 

They promise you the world, but don’t deliver. The worst pharma job I have ever had and would not recommend. Unless you’re new to Canada and need experience, don’t apply. The management style is terrible. The company could have a good future if they changed up their management and were more up to date and realistic about certain aspects of the business. A Company that has been around for 28 years but runs like a new company.

More than 25 years pharmaceuticals business. Unfortunately had not grown to be a successful entity in culture and sales progress. May have good OTC products but poor distribution and marketing strategy.  Close mindedness  pulling down it's own success. Good sales people leave the company for no professional respect and appreciation of sales force.  Salary is below  industry standard.
