SEKURE COST REVIEW

This is a job that you really need to be mentally strong to handle. From the loud work environment to the mangers trying to get "leads" and pressure from the mangers its all to much for a normal person to handle. I work at Sekure for about four days and on the fifth day left do to some stress related issues outside of work. And to say the job is taxing mentally is a understatement. From day one there where issues with the numbers and the people that i was talking to. Not only was everyone pretty much rude and never gave me a chance to talk but the few death threats where taxing as well. From there it only got worst the "leads" started getting less and less and the mangers tried to makes us feel very alive by standing, dancing or some other stuff that never worked. The push for "leads" was hard due to the numbers. After my four day i came home like a zombie i had no appetite or felt like doing anything. So to say the Sekure is a good job, It is if you can handle it. The salary pays very well and the commissions are very nice and the training is a lot better then expected. Free coffee and the lounge where i nice touch. The cafe down stairs all though as nothing to do with Sekure is a nice place to go if you're in need of a break from the stress of upstairs. Nice staff and great prices its one place i would like to be. As for Sekure the job really needs more work for it to be a job i could recommend to anyone looking for work. All though the training is tight and the presentation of it is really well done. The work environment needs to be less tense, the calling list need to be reworked and better formed. The mangers need too lay off people with so much positive reinforcement and the fight to get leads. To me it just put more stress on me and the other workers.

So my final grade for this job is a: D-

I would not recommend anyone working here in less you are mentally ready for it and of course can deal with this sort of work flow.

I worked at Sekure for about a month before deciding to leave. On my first day I had less than an hour of 'training' before being made to take calls. Several of the people in my training group were fired within the first week because they weren't making enough leads. Not a secure job at all. Agents are often live monitored by the managers and pulled aside to listen back to calls they've made. We were told to be aggressive in our sales pitch and never hang up. The work is emotionally very draining and incredibly stressful. I was often shouted abuse at over the phone by angry American business owners who were sick of being contacted. If you're a sensitive person this job isn't for you. I was close to tears many times. There is a lot of noise around you which makes it very difficult to listen to what the person on the other end of the call is saying to you. Management do not care about your personal life or when you are sick. People who call in sick are often told that they have to come into work otherwise they will be fired. I wouldn't recommend working there unless you're desperate for a job and don't speak any French. My coworkers were friendly enough and I made a few good friends through working there but the office area itself was incredibly dirty. I don't think any cleaners have ever been there (there was actually a rumour going around that the floor was infested with bedbugs). It is your responsibility to clean your desk. However, the schedule is good, there are never any evening or weekend shifts and the building is conveniently located downtown. Finish early on Fridays and my pay was always in my account on time, never any mistakes.

Worked at secure for just shy of three months, the people are great loved everyone and how friendly they are, loved all the inspirational quotes from the managers. But I will say this management needs some work, your  tactic to scare people about losing their jobs is not how you manage a company. You don’t need to micromanage anyone but I do believe your training should be a little longer then a half a day. I felt good at the company at first then I miss a day or two and had doctors notes to back me up and at 4:30 (keep in mind we finished at 4:45) on a Friday I was called into the training room and told that they have to let me go, 2 days shy of my 3 months, but I could apply again. ( I’m not good enough now but I could be good later) told I could finish out the day. Being stupid I did finish out the day in hopes I’d get a statement in the last 15 mins just out of spite. 
If you don’t make quota you will be let go, which I understand the business of it but most the time you can not help it if the lead is a quality lead, you have no control over whether or not the customer sends in their statements.
 $15 an hour to put up with what ya do on the phone is a little low. But they did raise it from $13 and extended the hours. 
Overall I loved everyone I worked with, clean and nice environment but management needs some-work to improve how you communicate with the people that working for you.

For $15/hour, you're paid to prod and bug small businesses' phone numbers in the United States all day long, asking their employees and whoever is on the other end to talk to "whoever is responsible for the credit card processing" there.

With an average of over 400 automatic, non-stop calls made in a day with the virtual calling software and the long script they provide on their PC's, it's just a grueling, languishing repetition of the same thing over and over, with quotas imposed on you on top that.

Free coffee and fruits in the morning's nice, but it doesn't make up for all the toll it takes on you. I'd choose to work minimum wage, with a more relaxed, peaceful environment instead. It doesn't help that you're the front line in the peddling of a shady and harmful credit card processing service, for whoever takes up on Sekure's offer.

The atmosphere is great, your coworkers are fun and the support team is helpful and encouraging.

Besides that, i found that they don't really understand that a lot of the outcomes with the calls are out of your control, Your cold calling companies to convinces them to do a processing review for free. A lot of people dont trust that type of call. 
If you dont meet there goals, they let you go, even if you do everything you can and the people just don't do it.

Overall, i like the people there and the base pay is good, their commission is harder to  get than they say, and they are very strict on you meeting there weekly goals.

Sekure Cost Review was my first employer that me making cold calls. It was a great experience and taught me a lot about sales and approaching clients. I absolutely loved the work environment and the people I worked for and with.

Generally speaking, I'd spend the day making calls to prospective clients pitching them a sale. The management was very supportive and would offer 1-on-1 help with employees, offering them tips and solutions to increase sales numbers.

I wouldn't suggest working here. It's a way to make money, but at the price of your soul. All day long you'll be belittled and treated like a child by "management", aka 20 year olds on a power trip. The environment is super crazy, noisy, people are dealing coke on the floor cause that's the only way you can survive putting up with that place long enough to make a pay. Customers are all screaming and hanging up all day and telling you to go kill yourself. This place will break you.

I worked at Sekure as a summer job and absolutely loved it. The people I worked with were great, as are the managers. Amazing commission, fantastic hours (finish early on Fridays!), free coffee and fruits :D.  However, if you’re sensitive and cannot deal with people hanging up on you, this job is not for you. You have to be assertive and have good communication skills.

This place is a revolving door. They lie about the salary the chances of you getting even $15 per hour before commission is 1/50. $480 per week is before taxes, after taxes bring the total down to about $375 after 40 hours. Less then $10 an hour after taxes.

It was telemarketing, what else is there to say? People are nasty, the hours are long, and boring. You won't even get to the pitch 90% of the time, and you'll get fired if you don't meet the quotas, even if it isn't your fault. The workplace was nice though, and so were the trainers, it's mostly the customer's that are going to suck.
