A typical day consists of preparing raw materials to be ready for processing than sell the final product to the guest.

I learned time management skills, conduct cash trasactions by paying attention to details.

Part took in the Cast Member Involvement Committe to paticipate in event plannings at Silver City.

The co-workers we supportive and understanding. We shared best practices of guest service and as a result management offered us a games night which further connected the bond with the co-workers.

The hardest part of the job was trying to do many things at once. However, I worked on prioritizing to do lists, delegate tasks and collaborate with the guest to fully understand their concerns. Many concerns were resolved at the theatre level although some concerns were resolved with management's approval.

The most enjoyable part of the job was being crossed trained to other possitions that had increased accountabilityand required significant skills to accomplish the new job position.

It was my first official part-time job, and I feel I got lucky. Would highly recommend applying if you're a student as most of your colleagues are also students and aside from special events, there's mostly evening shifts during weekdays so it won't conflict with classes. It can get busy during peak movie releases (looking at you Star Wars and Marvel) though you'll have a great team to help support you through it. Best part too is that you can alternate between working different roles (concession, box office, birthday parties, etc.). Everyone usually starts off on working the concession stand, though you'll eventually get trained to work other areas which provides some nice variety.

A typical day at work would be all about the guest and their experience at the theatre. I learned how to better deal with displeased guests, and I also further developped my multitasking skills. Management and my co-workers were always so positive and encouraged us to do our best. It made the job much easier and a lot more enjoyable having a positive work environment and outgoing people. The hardest part of the job was having to have eyes in the back of your head and being on guard of everything that was going on at concession. The most enjoyable part of the job was everything. I would work there again in a heartbeat!

Working there was great for the flexible scheduling and free movies. Management played favouritism, and if you weren't a favorite then you were out of luck. Pay is absolutely horrible. Management also does not back up their employees. If you are following company code and a customer complains, management will not back you up, and will instead break the company code and give in, and make you look like a fool in front of the customer. I'm not sure how it is now, but when I worked there, management was the main issue. I only recommend this job if you are in high-school or college and need to work around a school schedule.

The staff are very welcoming and looking for ways to make your experince there better; not just for guests, but for staff as well. My experience working there has been great. There's a lot to do at Silvercity. It's also a fairly easy job if you do the work.

I loved working at SilverCity. I got to interact with a lot of different types of people everyday . I have always been a little shy and SilverCity helped me become more outgoing while also developing great communication skills.

Managers don’t care at all about their coworkers they force you to do tasks that you may not be comfortable doing And if you refuse they threaten you and give you attitude. For example if someone throws up they force you to clean it when it should be their responsibility to do it in the first place they make their staff feel really bad. 

8 hour max. Learnt management and creativity. Enjoyable part of job was time management. Hardest part of the job was busy schedule. However, like to teach new members new skills. get along with almost every co-workers from different background, cultures and opinions.

I loved working here the cast members are great and management is fair. this is a great first job for young people because the environment is very friendly and safe.
