You should expect to put in a lot of hours to complete the abundance of ever growing work on your plate, there is no shortage of things to do for actual customers, HR nice to have but mandatory stuff, traveling, no such thing as a 8 hr day. 
You are pretty much on your own to get things done which is nice, people are great but everyone is drowning in processes.
Travel is okay but excessive, away from home too much.
Development is mainly all offshore and is a major challenge to get quality things done and delivered.

Guaranteed that when you walk into work, you will be presented with a new set of challenges. A well formed team of professionals who work well in a cross-functional environment. Management is well organized and ensures that the strategies across all teams are well aligned and accountability is maintained. Shifting priorities across the teams did create some challenges.

I love working at SITA. You meet people from all over the world, which is very amazing. 
Work schedule is quite flexible, as you can swap your shift.
You can work on the weekends and have 3 days off during the week.
The Montreal office is downtown, close to everything you need.
Online training and certifcations are paid by SITA.
You have access to many online books too. 
You can grow a lot professionally if you want.

The company specializes in airport and airline IT. It was the biggest in this domain for more than 30 years. It is lacking new ideas and is having difficulties competing with more modern companies. The company started outsourcing most of its business several years ago and keeps doing that.

In the Montreal location there is no room for technical advancement past a certain point. Most of the engineering/development centers are in other locations in the world - the company has no interest in relocating product experts with many years of experience and would rather hire someone locally and train them from scratch.

•	I served as a point for first level troubleshooting for airlines worldwide 
•	I would determine our customer’s needs/issues and dispatch technicians accordingly.
•	Was responsible for maintaining the functionality and operations for airport equipment ranging from bag tag scanners to complex operational software for airports spanning the globe.

I worked on a short contract for Sita and enjoyed the job. The staff are professionals and courteous.

The pace is a little slow having to deal with different departments, but my manager handled all this work for the project and I was able to concentrate on delivering the goods.

Work culture is good 
My team is a new team so we are building it and still defining the process. Some teams don’t seem to work at all while some others work all day and even on the weekends
Good learning program, interns are paid less

Company has mature processes and there are opportunities to grow and learn. It's one of the companies that you can stay on and retire in and yet you have never quite seen every nook and crany of the company.
