One of the worst companies I have ever worked for. Managers are not held accountable and just do as they please. They only look out for themselves and offer no coaching or real leadership. There is zero communication  between managers and staff, and keyholders are not considered management even though they are held accountable to be leaders yet they do have no say in actual decisions. Store managers are lazy, and will be on their laptop or phones most of the time doing the schedule, or just leaving the store. Managers do not help with day to day activities and have no idea what is going on in the store. They are basically just administrators doing basic clerical work for their position and no actual leadership for their store. Store manager just treats their employees  with no respect. Unless you are looking for part time just to chill for 50% off discount on clothes this job is not worth a full time headache.

Very junior partners at HQ who typically keep information to themselves. France is completely inept at communicating which renders local business partners without knowledge.  All departments exist in their own silos and the constant blabbering of being a 'dream team' is about as corny as it gets.  Feedback to HQ is not allowed to be remotely against the grain and is not only frowned upon but actioned upon also.  Most emails to HQ go unread.  Training department is relegated to babysitting an online training platform and, when they do interact directly with team members, might as well be reading their pre-written speeches directly off the monitors behind the cameras.  A complete and utter misunderstanding of employee needs and a fully pigeonholed customer base, this company is set up for its own implosion the moment they inevitably anger their customer demographic.  An absolute catastrophe of a business led by the willingly blind, deaf, and mute. 

Within a year time frame, they've gone through 3 different area and district managers, which is surprising for higher level positions, which does affect store level since people don't know the history of what has been going on in the store.
Advancement is difficult and they are more likely to hire from outside than promote within.
The pay is very low compared to other luxury brands and they do not do reviews for pay increase.
The one good thing here are the employee discounts and incentives, that's about it.
How great the job is, highly depends on the store manager, which is also another revolving door, affecting high turn over rate in staffing as well. 
They are cheap, and management kept piling more and more workload but not increasing the hours to complete tasks, a nightmare of an environment I cannot recommend. They also do not like to hire full-time staff, so you might be part-time, working full-time hours without the benefits. 

The company Maje was a great place to work at i have learned a lot from my store manager she was an excellent leader always teaching and providing positive feedback and criticism. I really liked working at Maje i learned how to sell and provide outstanding client service. I have to say for the management not every one in the management behaved professionally some of them were behaving like they are still in high school and thought it was alright to talk behind your back to the store manager and to other co workers. Also , there are associates who work along with you and think its alright to steal the customer from you and make the sale so she can be labeled as best seller in the team.

Alarming employee turnover rate. Employees in all positions are trained on the job. All non management positions are paid drastically across the board, two people in the same position could be making over a $1,50 difference. Supervisor/ key holder paid only fifty cents more than their associates. Operational associates do not receive commission, instead a “bonus” that does not equal to how much Sales associates are making. No superiority for current employees over potential new-hires for role changes or promotion, no growth or job security. Never trust a company that promotes being a “family”. Sales associates treat the Operational associates like their maids. This is a luxury brand, you’d think you’re working for Old Navy. 

Stressful place to work at due to the management that has no consideration for workers, nurturing gossips and drama and very disappointing salary.
No work life balance since managers reach out to you day and night over your personal goals, alongside intimidating and respressive methods. Employees aren't getting paid for doing whatever is additional to their current duties, no respect of availabilities (schedule wise). Overtime isn't getting paid properly, no recognition from ungrateful managers despite your hard and consistent efforts. Staff turnover is very high because of the unfair management and their wrong priorities. Communication is chaos too.

Run away.

This is a very nice store, it is affordable luxury but not many people are dedicated buyers of this brand so you will have to convince people it is of value to them over another desired name brand store.

The pay is only minimum wage and it is not easy to get commission unless you have clients, and if you do not already have a bunch of clients you will not be able to sell much.

Shifts feel long and it hurts to stand all day.

The people are nice, there is competition for sales but generally they encourage you to get at least a few sales if possible.

- Lots of unfairness/ lying about the job status (Full time/ Part-time) in the job description from day 1. This is considered misleading.
- Management was the worst. You cannot even trust the manager there as an employee. 
- No team spirit. A lot of gossips back and forth, even from the managers too. 
- Felt like they just took advantage of the employee and never considered the effort that the employee put in. There was a lot of talking, and false promises but no action was taken. 
- There is no job secure here at all. 

Manager was very unprofessional, managed through intimidation and criticism. Culture should have been great but personal manager made it a hard to enjoy. No relationships with district managers and employees. Manager worked at will, rarely in the store for 8 hour shifts and took extended breaks. Was to receive a team visa card for reaching targets but well over three months later had still received it.

The design is beautiful, however the company HQ seems doesn't care about the ppl in the store.
The management and communication are awful.
Also the HR, i hope someone will notice they are losing the talented hard worker, hope the company will improve the way they use ppl.
Also higher the standard of choosing a manager...
