-I  used to report to work at least 15 minutes to the start of my shift
-Received daily incident briefings and emergencies
-The various security equipment such as radios,keys,computers etc were jointly inspected by me and the officer handing over to me.Then if both of are were satisfied,I took them over and signed as having officially assumed duty for the day.
-The emergencies from the report were either attended to or reviewed based on the recommendation of the officer who had just handed over to me.
-After I have attended to the emergencies if there is any,I undertake my first patrol duties.First,to give my self a general orientation on the situation around the premises and secondly as part of my routine patrols
-I schedule a 15 minute patrol times with varying frequencies and purposes.
-I am also on hand to attend any emergency that arises.
-If there is an emergency for instance involving fire,I call 911,prepare the evacuation routes,keep the Fire Service key on hand and make relevant announcements.If it is a storied building I am stationed at,I keep the route way accessible for the fire department,I also make sure the fire emergency elevator is grounded and opened ready for use by the fire department.
-After the arrival of the fire department,I inform them location of the fire based on information I had read from the fire panel
-I then assist the fire workers by keeping residence clear and at a safe distance until all is over.
-After the fire department finishes its work,I then reset the elevators and make the relevant announcements.
-Apart from this,I do attend to the affected persons depending on their needs.
Based on the above scenario,I have in several times learnt a lot from the job especially,my ability to keep cool when everybody else is frightened.I have also learnt to large numbers of people in crowd situations or otherwise.
My management was very good,I had excellent relations with them at all times.
I also had very good working relationship with my co-workers.
The hardest part of the job is when people think that,as a security guard you know everything and must be able to solve all their problems.
The most enjoyable part is when individuals show their appreciation to you for the protection you give them.

This site is horrible any error you would never be called you would be left hanging and never would be called then you realise no one is calling you would say to yourself what did I do you would then say to your self I should go and give the Uniform  back worst place in the city to work Please keep as Far Away as you can  not  worth the headache 

Nexus was the first and hopefully the last place I am employed with as a security guard. I love the professionalism of management and the guards that I work with on a daily basis. I couldn't think of anything else I'd rather do or any other security company I'd rather be with - it's the perfect fit for me! Love it, love it, love it. Love it! 

Easy job but not much room for advancement. low paying job with very little raises. At times can be a bit unorganized. Typical day on the job was that of any other concierge service.

Small company with a very interpersonal staff who always have time for the employees who pass through looking for advice and direction.
I have worked for a few security companies since 2010 but nothing compares to the treatment these guys give. Great!

This company does not look out for the best interests of their employees, instead they treat employees like garbage and do not have a HR department.

The also do not have a consistent payroll department either, very unprofessional

Good overall, had 2 different roles while working for this company. I would suggest working for this company. If you want to try different aspects in the security field this company is good for that.

I am working with ssg nexus group from last about a year now as a supervisor. My duties are to handle the operations and reach different locations in operated vehicle and handling employees shifts scheduling assistant

Worked for Nexus for almost 2 years and was always treated right. Was really my pleasure working for you guys, they lead by example. Keep it up guys. 
Anyone trying to work in as a security guard should definitely apply here.

It's a great place to work. The staff is also very co-operative And they provide you good facility and affordable pay as well and I should suggest if one want to start career as security guard this the best place to ring the bell.
