A typical Day at StaffPlus begins with waking early and arriving at KingsMill packaging plant at 8 a.m. This job gave me the discipline to carry out my tasks efficiently and on time. 

I learned how to use many of the machines essential in the packaging process and had a good repor with many of my co-workers.

Management was friendly and gave precise instructions.

The hardest day on the job was on a particularly hot day where the floor of the factory was very uncomfortable. Needless to say we still completed all of the work which was assigned to us.

The most enjoyable part of the job was at the end after completing all the tasks and a sense of accomplishment that comes after a long day of work.

I worked as a food production worker inside this temp agency inside of Westons Factory. The staff were fairly nice and very easy to talk to, but the switch in hours and schedules got a bit out of hand. I asked them to switch my hours to a shift that everyone else was doing, but they didn't exactly listen and kept messing up my hours. I was only there for two weeks before I was laid off like all the other temps and they said they would call people back when production got busier, but that never happened. The place is very fast paced and I would not recommend getting the job if you can't handle the same position for 8 hours a day.

I had a mixed experience with Staff Plus. While my initial assignments went well and I was recognized for my performance, my recent interactions have been frustrating. Despite my qualifications and previous positive feedback, the agency became unresponsive and unhelpful when I reached out for new job opportunities. I was treated rudely by some staff members, and my calls and messages were often ignored. This lack of communication and respect made me feel undervalued as a worker.I hope they improve their professionalism and support for returning workers in the future.

Great place to work, always looking out for your needs, and easy to take days off if you need a day and they never complain if you ask for a day off! The two ladies that do the hiring for westons cobourg, always greet you in the morning with smiles and ask you how your weekend was and always ask if you ever need anything! I love working here the enviornment is very friendly and they always keep you busy which makes time go by fast! Im a summer student and will definitely be back next summer, I would recommend this job to anybody!

The light packaging job is fine for me, but not enough work. I only work maybe 1, 2 or 3 days a week. Sometimes zero. Many repetitive work. There were 3 different lines to work. I normally changed lines each time I worked there. The team lead was strict always watching at us. She has favoritism especially when it comes to slow assembly work. Only a few people stayed behind the rest were sent home early which was not fair to us, and it was always the same people stayed behind repetitively.

A typical day at work - employee confirmation calls, resume calling, interviews, order filling, background checks, communication with clients.

What you learned - time management, problem solving, multi-tasking, effective communication. 

Management - open door policy and reasonable. 

Workplace culture - respect and fairness.

The most enjoyable part of the job - fast paced environment, relatable coworkers, satisfying compensation given that work goals are accomplished.  

a typical day is doing peasant work like lifting boxes(ranging from a mass of 4 to 5 pounds) in a fast pace environment or on the good days of making boxes and modelling campaigns to advertise products.
i learned how to work in a exceptionally fast paced environment, and the proper way to lift boxes without causing harm to your back and standing for long periods to time

the hardest part of the job is lifting boxes and working in loud and hot environments 

the most enjoyable part of the job is the break
