-A typical day at work involved ongoing multitasking to complete tasks while being understaffed due to lack of budgeted hours being provided while receiving large shipments daily. 

-I learned alot in regards to communication skills, multitasking, how to operate an entire store by myself, time management skills, how to effectively assign tasks to employees and patience. 
-The hardest part of the job was not having support from Management as they expected you to complete several tasks within a specific time-frame while ensuring the store was being operated effectively and with a lack of staff. Management  members were fairly unreasonable at times. 
-The most enjoyable part of the job was creating a family with my employees that I could trust to help me as much as possible although they were all students and seeing everyone grow & learn together. Their efforts were truly acknowledged and I was so proud of them all.

Stitches is a retail store in Brampton,Ontario Canada. It attracts all types of customers regardless of brand. It always has consist of discounted items or promotions to keep the workers busy. The administration staff were excellent and believed in promoting the workers from floor sales to higher ranks within the store.

• Maintained an organized and neat workspace and operated tills
• Assisted management and merchandising team in executing visuals
• Performed opening / closing duties, including balancing tills
• Uphold company standards through visual merchandising and customer service

I only had this job for a month before I was let go. The store manager had no knowledge of how to train employees or how to do an orientation, so for my first week working I was pretty lost. I had to wait for the assistant manager to get back from vacation to train me. Even the employees said "You'll hate working here."  

A fun environment with friendly managers and co-workers. learned many skills such as having friendly communication with customers, keeping the cash area clean and organized and taking responsibilities.

The manager there mainly picks his favorites and they will receive the most shifts in a week then leaves the rest with the scrappy 3-5 hours. Not impressed

Managers were not nice people, very rude and inappropriate, never did any work. 
Learned good time management, and to work at an even faster pace 
They have unrealistic expectations, so makes the job very stressful

* Friendly co-workers but not all
* Cleaning the store
* Providing Customer service

Manager/DM act superior to you belittle you. Rules not followed,employees treated like garbage. Company could care less about you and the job you do. 

This job was last minute but had a great time in the stitches outlet family. Gained a lot of experience that will help if I were to get a stocking job, I would work there if I had another opportunity.
