SUNRISE SCHOOL DIVISION

School division treats its teachers well and provides a lot of room for growth. the division covers a lot of geographical ground, and often employs teachers to work at multiple schools which incurs a lot of commute time. Division does not typically provide mileage either. Also, despite it being rural and very widely spread, the division usually stayed open while the rest of the surrounding areas were announcing snow days, or no bus days.

I enjoy working at the school division during the year, however there is not a lot of job availability. I have been added to the subbing list and have been able to complete a emergency placement for 4 months with one student, I enjoyed that temporary position. Cleaning is a nice job, the hardest part is that all the shifts are evening shifts, it's hard not being home in the evenings.

Very good positive environment. Very good staff to work with. Major safety standards which is no concern. Great maintaining of vehicles. Working with the public  and students is awesome. Recommended place to work with.

This school division is as backwards as the town it runs from. Catty coworkers, shady dealings, and do not care about their employees. Was told my position was cut AFTER the students left for the summer, didn't even get to say goodbye. 

The school division has really nice, clean schools. The people you work with are really nice and very helpful. It's not super stressful, but at times it can be if you're working in the evening.

working at sunrise school division i liked that i worked on my own schedual. i took my bus home and started from home. i made my pick up an drop off schedual alos as well could choose to do my owrk or not.

My job was fairly simple and I really enjoyed the people I worked with. The people I was to connect with were always easily accessible and I would recommend this job to anyone willing to wake up very early.

Best job. I never want to leave. Team support is the best I've ever seen anywhere I have worked. Opportunities to work in different areas in the school and in the school division.

On going learning through annual Professional Development days and daily challenges. Sunrise, administration and staff are approachable and professional.

Was in control of department.  I was there on a one year term position.  I left on very good terms.  Got to travel from school to school and interact with staff and teachers.
