Responsible for either store openings or closings. Ensuring bank deposits balanced with store closing reports and all monies were deposited each day.Ensuring price changes were completed, sales were put on in a timely fashion,freight was on the floor within 24 hours. Entering staff schedules in computer and sending payroll each week. The best part of my job was working along with the other employees. We had a good working relationship. While working as Assistant Manager I learned how to do several things at a time.

It was great to go to work and enjoy being there. I love working with clothes and shoes. You got to go through clothes and price them and hang them. Doing displays, I really enjoyed doing that. Loved working with shoes and putting them on shelves. I got along great with the staff and management. Everyone was great to get along with. If you needed help, they'd help with no problem. There was no hard part of my job. The most enjoyable part was working with the public.

I learned so much with working at the saan store. it was was my first real job and I went from a cashier to assistant manger. I learned that I love working with people, even though it was just helping them find what they were looking for or just starting a conversation as I rang their things through the till. It taught me how to be organized and reliable. there wasn't really a hard part of the job, sometimes you would get an upset costumer but it was never really that bad. I enjoyed working with my co workers and people.

it was a great company to work for. great benefits,bonuses and products. fast past, as manager 6 days/week schedule. able to celebrate holidays in store,ie halloween. enjoyed waking up to go to work.

Management encouraged learning and a team environment, assisted in daily tasks and worked towards goals as opposed to dictating from the office.

This company went bankrupt and closed its doors in 2008.
It was an enjoyable place to work, relaxed environment. 
Freight came in once a week and it was always fun to put it
out.

Love the position manager always. Went above and beyond for the staff. It was like working with your family. Loved going to work everyday. Company closed in 2008 sad to to them go

SAAN store is a great place to work, especially for youth trying to gain experience and build their resume. Great staff to work along side. Easy enough job to do.
