A typical day at Saand is lack of info not knowing what is to be done next leading to confusing days an misunderstandings.
I have learned how to operate variety of different machines an the control handling of glass.
Management normally does not know what they are doing or what they want us to do, little to no structure on how the place is operated.
Workplace culture is pretty negative an it will follow you to your home life.
Hardest part about the job is learn the tiny tricks of how to keep machines working correctly since they don't maintain machine correctly.
The most enjoyable part about the job is some of the people you meet there. Once people get out of the workplace an see them in normal day they become super enjoyable people to hangout with.

Very customer oriented organization. Many loyal employees who love their work. The leadership is committed to constantly change to address changing customer needs and expectations which upsets some employees and some appreciate it. Although not there yet, but a continuous improvement culture is gradually being brought in. At management level, the philosophy is to enable individual employees and groups of employees identify dysfunctions in themselves and teams. Its encouraged to challenge each other on stuff that can impact customer satisfaction without being taken personally. Coworkers mostly support each other and work in a collaborative manner to achieve targets. However, manpower shortage at times affects the targets.

I arrive at work to emails and meetings to start my day. I am able to interact with all plants and production to get answers for deliveries for our customers. During the day I answer emails  from customers and staff at the various locations. The customer service team and order entry team are a great team to work with. We work well together asking and answering questions and helping when they are short staffed. I am constantly learning new things each day. Either from our team or from the production team. Hardest part of my job is sometimes getting answers fast from the production team but recently I have noticed this has changed as well.

The work itself depends on how much you enjoy it as to whether the job is right for you, but management would rather hire a new person with 0 experience into empty positions than promote someone already in the company. They might give you a good initial offer to join, but I wasn't the only one passed over to hire an inept person, the entirety of the existing workforce was passed over to bring in someone who did not know a single bit of terminology, a person who thinks "tempered" glass means it has a coating on it.

My day at work begins on the nights shift doing various tasks to set up loading glass on the waiting trucks.

I have learned how to operate an overhead crane and am certified in doing this and am being trained to operated a forklift and to soon become certified

Have new management on night shift and unable to comment at this time.

The most enjoyable part of the job is interacting with the other employees on shift and working as a team to get the work done

Saand is a great company for one to land a job. With wo derful team of admi istrators,manageers coupled with respectful, responsible and experienced workers all sharing their expertise for all to grow together especially with new hires to belong to the Saand family.
I am not surprised to land a new position at Saand and recieved quality training and taken through the lines to be ready for any position anytime.If you want a place to work and be part of a family, SAAND is the first place to apply for job.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The people there at the time were very dedicated to the company.

The supervisor and the floor manager which made it harder to get things done .

The environment and culture were great 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It was nice bc were all worked well when we had our team together but when they moved us all around.We wont sure of the new person 
would know what to do.

I worked at Saand London for sometime while I finished up school for another skill in a medical profession. During my time there, they were very understanding of the time off I needed due to exams, and other personal reasons. The environment is very positive and management is very helpful. My coworkers were the best part of working there, it felt like a big family and everyone supported everyone... something that's hard to find working anywhere else.  

I have been working with Saand for more than a decade. I have always loved and enjoyed working here. Its a team based work culture with plenty   of opportunities for individual growth. Saand has  a very respectful and fair working environment with open door policies. You can voice your concerns and present your suggestions to any level of management without any reservations.
