Sabre Well Servicing

I have been with Sabre nearly 2 years now and during this period Ihave seen incredible change. I believe Sabre still has a long way to go in some respects. Benefit plans have changed several times since I joined and I have really no clue what I am covered for or not covered for. There are benefits but it is hard to keep track. GP operation is a little different than most other companies but major improvements have been made to the iron and overall operation. I do not believe GP is the driver of most of the positive change - most of it really comes from the Calgary and more specifically the guy running the show. He visits GP regularly and everything seems to just work better when he is up here. People get along better better and stuff just seems to get done without complaining. There have been a number of changes for the our rig. Handheld radios, monitors, deals on gear, and probly the best one XMradio in our doghouse. We have it on literally all the time except for our safety meetings. Drones just arrived and everyone is excited about the addition. Let's hope everyone even the lonely floorhands get a chance to fly.

I have been at Sabre for almost a year now. Even in that short time I have seen a lot of change. Most of the change has been for the better. I have found at Sabre the field and crews are the focus and we get what we need to complete our work safely and efficiently. Customers that we work for have been very good and have kept the work fairly steady. There are very different levels of approachability within the company but I have found when we really had issues that needed to be addressed they were by the upper management. At Sabre crew really needs to have more stability and find their home on one rig. There is a lot moving around and gap filling which is not the most positive approach over the long term.

I recently joined Sabre and I am very pleased with the team I joined. People have been very welcoming and the environment is great. I have also already met one of the owners and it was reassuring - I was impressed. We only talked for a bit but I also like that I am listened to and my opinion is respected. Not just from him but pretty much everyone.

I noticed that there is a real commitment to maintaining the equipment and looking after all things in general. Everything I have needed to do a good job I have gotten. Because it is a small group sometimes things could happen faster but hey, I’ll take this anyway over all the other places I have worked.

I joined Sabre when I heard about them and the changes from a friend nearly 2 years ago. I knew little to none about well servicing work but they got me trained up and with good instructions and directions I became a pretty good hand. I enjoyed working for Sabre very much and if life brings me back to Grande Prairie Sabre will be the first place I will seek work. Will miss everyone very much. It was so good to work for a company that deffinately cared.

I joined saber in fall and have enjoyed my time working there. My rig was ran well, my push tought but fair and very smart. i always felt safe and i was properly trained and i think saber does a good job supplying what is needed to get the job done and safely. Cleets for icy conditions, and gas monitors and always radios jsut a few things. I have worked for a few companies, none did this. Heading home but want to return to saber after brakeup.

Sabre is an excellent employer; I joined in Q3 of 2016 for contract Accounting position. Given the current economic situation in Alberta I found that many companies have done away employment incentives. Coming to Sabre, I was happily surprised to find that the management team truly cares about their employees and they have found innovative ways to recognize and reward hard work. I would definitely recommend Sabre.

Good safe place to work. All of my work has been with at times demanding but very professional people. Company cares and crews also push to be efficient and safe. Industry still miles from where it used to be but equipment here is good. Work ethic is good. Have a few differences with some but all good people. Covvies could use refreshing and I have had better ones at other companies. Good doghouse environment. Ok hotels.

I recently joined Sabre and I am proud to have joined. Equipment not the newest but well maintained. Get the supplies we need and there is always something new or some new initiative. Gear, prizes, snacks and a little graft. My crew is professional and efficient and for the most part we get along well. Managers at field and head office are solid. Overall positive place. I plan to stay. Now I need to get me a freezy

New management took over about a year ago. A lot of changes. Skeptical at first but it is exciting to see everyone pulling together and for a change positive. Most thought new guy wouldn't stay for long - sell conpany or something. Am glad he did. Nice to finally see someone who actually cares.

I have been working at Sabre for about 9 months and working here has been a breath of fresh air. Both the Calgary and Grande Prairie teams are great and make you feel like you're part of a big family. Awesome support system for anything you may need and very understanding upper management makes working here fun.
