Environment was toxic management did not have the qualifications for there jobs that made it very difficult to get anything done.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Bad toxic the wrong people made it up too far.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Try to get subordinates to do the jobs they were suppose to do.

Typical day involves a number of tasks from dispensing, record taking and drug management.

What I learned, management an team working skills along with proper medication accounting/dispensing practices.

Hardest part of the job would be its a very high paced job that can be very demanding at time.

Most enjoyable part of the job would be the hands on approach to learning in the work place.

This hospital has been operating in Saint John for many years and it feels like they have ironed out all of the kinks. When I worked casual there, the work flow was very smooth and efficient. It is a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere

It's a busy and productive workplace. The hardest part of the job was watching patients from all different ages going through treatment is sad but the young ones always have a smile no matter what. My co-workers in the department were awesome to work with. I learned alot of the medical terminology and loved the clerical work.

I volunteered at the volunteer desk with a group of other volunteers. We answered the phone and escorted patient. We also provided helps that needed. I also escorted elderly to a small chapel in the hospital. I was able to make new friends and experience a professional work environment

The lab offers a variety of different job options.  I have worked in other labs that do not give you the variety as a lab assistant that the Regional does. The hours for most departments is pretty good compared to other hospitals. The staff are great to work and get a long with.

There is an amazing work life balance and they encourage growth.  The pay is well above market standards and compensation is fair although opportunities for advancement is limited 

Fantastic place to learn something new every day with lots of supports of different disciplines. Hospital had many units all of which were helpful to aid in the learning and problem solving surrounding patient care.

Managing 130 employees in different unions.
Process review and restructure.
Continuing education provided for management.
Improving process for efficient patient satisfaction.

Most other medical professionals were courteous and easy to work with.  Great experience for the paramedic profession that I entered shortly after leaving the receptionist job.
