A typical day at work consisted of very physical labor. I learned how to use large equipment ie: floor stripper/waxer.... to work with others as well as alone. My co-workers were a delight to work with. I enjoyed meeting new people and new children that would attend the daycare. The hardest part of my job was seeing everyone leave at the end of their shifts, as I was alone in the building. But I also work well on my own and am very accomplished. The most enjoyable part of my job was seeing all the happy faces, laughing, napping and beautiful children.

Whoever works here must be strong-minded and know how to block -out the negativity in the office. 
Other than that clients are nice; mind you they go through many unjustifiable, senseless, negativity before they are even considered human.  

A lot of nepotism and political dissatisfaction working for Samson Cree Nation.
More administrative corruption than positive changes.
Very much favoritisms within a financial unaccountable administration with very poor reporting of financial services.

Learned so much about the environment while out on pipeline and transmission line projects for the consultation department on the Samson Cree Nation. Also great work experience in carpentry.

I was answering phones and filling resumes for different jobs around the community , hardest part was probably is answering phones cause some people were really rude.

They need people with computer knowledge as well as phone and radio etiquette. Poor service and very rude office people. 
I would not recommend this job to anyone.  

I started out at a Membership Receptionist, moved up to Per Capita Distribution Clerk, I then moved to Education Dept as a Accounts Payable Clerk

I loved working for Samson Cree Nation, if I had the chance again...I would jump. My employer was nice and energetic ....we had the use of a van to carry out our plan for work, we maintained the equipment.

Lateral violence from managers. Gossip in every department, not really a place for advancement unless your related to the managers. Overall not an ideal place to work

If you need a job they will help you out , all types of employment opportunities there good things to be had and have there good for a start up family that’s living on reserve
