Toxic and scorned people write inaccurate reports. You cannot work for a company for a very short time and give any kind of an accurate review. Some people can work as a team and solve problems easily, others like to lay the blame on others and choose not to be a leader or a problem solver. If you are a leader, a team player and a problem solver that can work with others and the general public, you belong at Sansom, if you like to complain and choose to point the finger at or criticize others then it is not the place for you. Sansom is a great company with great benefits and has the potential to be your lifetime employer, there are many long term employees that are within this company who have made a career here and will retire from here, none of them have reviewed anything here. 

Most unorganized messed up place to work !!

Management will tell you whatever they think you want to hear to get you there but don't believe them

Had to fight with them every pay to get what they owed you and even then the HR and branch manager (cuz they can't keep a service manager) would talk out in circles to screw you over

Pretty sad if you take a day off the first thing you ask.whem you get back is who quit now.  At least one person a month quits.  Last I heard just this year in the Service Dept 15 people have left because they had enough.  With them not being able to keep positions filled it makes it impossible as a tech to do the job you were hired to do

The best day I had there was the day I put my notice in !


I discourage anyone from accepting employment here.  They will under pay and the stress level is insane.  You cannot believe anything they say to you.  Very mean people/ managers and they will penny pinch their employees to death if given the opportunity. Everyone I know who worked here hated their time there.  Really cannot say anything good about the owners or managers of the company.  Very mean and terrible people and treat their employees worse than anyone should be treated.  

I worked as an Administrative Assistant at Sansom Equipment for a couple months during the summer between my years at high school. I would say that the Administration position is a great entry-level job for anybody who wants to work customer service or advance in the company to a sales or parts position. I had an internal advantage which is why I was able to work so young, however they usually hire those 25+ years of age. Very grateful for starting experience!

I was contracted to create a completely trained and competent service and sales dealership network for three of the four Atlantic provinces marketing Kohler home standby and small business emergency generator electrical production. My task was completed within nine months although Sansom Equipment believed it would take approximately one year. The network was completed and my task completed.

Sansom is great place to work if you want to learn by doing. You will be challenged with and held accountable for completing quality work. Though the company has been through different challenges, it rewards hard workers and team players. For those looking for a dynamic job offering work on a big selection of applications, a service technician role at Sansom gives you that opportunity. 

Management lies to you directly, and does not respect anyone that actually does the work. They are completely inept and are unable to coordinate workload properly.
If you have any skills and experience, take them somewhere else where you will be appreciated. 
According to management, they are a sales driven organization, and sales are all that they care about.
I only gave one star because you cannot give zero stars.

Good place to work. Has been a stable company now for over 60 years. Many long term people in the organization. Have they had challenges in the past? Absolutely, however there aren't many companies out there, especially since Covid, that haven't had challenges. As long s a company moves forward, that is all that an employee can ask for.  

products they sell are quality, fun people to work with, managers are great, products are good quality.

a fair bit of travel around Nb and PEI.  mandated to travel in poor weather conditions.  Staff was always helpful.  growing company with potential to make a lot of money.

This company will give you the believe that it is a great company with great benefits however they will beat you down suck every ounce of happiness out of you. They misuse all employees especially their service team. Things will be great until you’re no longer an asset to their company. They treat customers awful.
