Schendel Mechanical

This company was my first "union" experience, and while there were some extremely concerning ethical displays with some of the journeymen and foremen; I was greatly impressed by the charisma, work ethic and moral compass of all those in charge of organization and leadership.

The owner is literally the worst person I have ever come across.   No respect for anyone's lives outside the company. Constantly uses threats and scare tactics to get workers to do things they shouldn't or aren't comfortable doing.  And uses the scabiest tools and equipment to try and pass off top quality work.  

Avoid at all cost.

I would still be with them if it weren’t for the main contractor not paying them the money they were owed.They are open to suggestions and have space for advancement.They do appreciate suggestions and tend to encourage it.I had a really good time there and miss my fellow coworkers.

I worked out of town with Schendel and they were really good at making a healthy work environment and everyone was really good to work with. Bosses and employees all together were great. Even the owner was a blast to be around. Most enjoyable part of the job was the people I worked with.

Productive company that teaches people on the job.  Staff is friendly and easy to work with.  This company has a very low turnover rate. They are strict and as a result hire good workers that take pride in their work.  Safety is taken seriously and pay is good.

if the color of your skin is not white your best friend will be the broom and heavy lifting and hardest jobs, the management does't encourage you to improve your education the least you make the better for them

Work 8 he days, commercial work so big projects. All around good learning experience. Worked with all types of material including glass pipe. Good place to work

I learned valuable commercial experience for my plumbing field, The workplace was very well organized. The jobsite was always kept clean and busy. Hardest part of the job was out of town work.

I started working with schendel a few years back it is an experience I'd like suggest to any one just getting in to the trade. Always treated me with respect.

family owned company so the owner is a pain to deal with.the don't care about their employees at all and fire you over nothing or favoritism of another.
