A typical day as a franchise manager included: 
- Managing job sites 
- Getting supplies for upcoming jobs for the week 
- Staying in contact with painters and homeowners 
- Cold calling every evening to try and schedule estimates for the weekend 
- Scheduling jobs for the upcoming weeks 

Overall, a franchise manager is a great job and offers lots of rewards, as well as experiences. Management offered lots of knowledge and expertise to all managers in the company in order for them to succeed. The hardest part of the job was staying organized every week because without organization/scheduling, work becomes dysfunctional. The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting clients and being your own boss.

This review is for the franchise manager position. 

There is no job like this one. Never will you have such level of responsibilities, learn and develop your skillset and have earning potential like what the FM position is offering. 

On the flipside, it will be a big commitment on your first year. You will need to invest hours and prioritize the business over everything else (school is your #1 priority, then the business).

You will have to work extra hard in order to succeed; however, this is an amazing way to learn how to start and grow your own business,

Good crew, got jobs done well. Short shifts looking to work longer ones. Always nice to work with new people and that was something that occurred frequently at Scholars at your service, made me more talkative and i've learned how to open-up the customer in a way were they feel comfortable around me and love to work with me.

Examine and maintain painted exterior and interior painted surfaces, trimming and fixtures Prepare surfaces and apply paints, stains, shading stains, and clear finishes. Remove previous paint by means of sandblasting, scraping, sanding, hydro- blasting and steam-cleaning.

Watch out for this company, workers. They prey on students who need summer work, and you will work paint jobs say of 14 hours over two days, yet they only pay for the number of hours on the job estimate to the client -- which is ALWAYS fewer hours.
It's a scam, which is a real shame, considering it's supposed to be run by students

While I see the potential for the company to be run well, at the end of the day it comes down to who is leading each team of painters. Communication is key and to bring the team together and create unity which was not the case here.

This job was the best experience I had. I was taught on interesting tactics. My courage has strengthened and knowledge on painting has gotten better. Training was amazing!
