The video and handbook paint a picture of a fantastic, family-oriented workplace. However, within weeks of starting, you may notice a very different reality. Management often misleads employees, making false statements to your face and manipulating staff with empty promises and gaslighting. For such a physically demanding role as a floor worker, there’s no training on proper lifting techniques, nor is there a clear safety or evacuation plan. Additional tasks are frequently added without consideration for the already heavy workload. For example, you're expected to straighten all coolers every half hour, check and clean the bathrooms every hour, and still complete a lengthy list of other responsibilities. This pressure can lead you to work through most breaks, worried you won’t meet all the demands.

The actual work environment falls short of the promised one. While paychecks may be decent due to consistently working 60-hour weeks, this role might be more suitable for students or part-time employees working 4-8 hours a day. Full-time employees working 12-hour shifts will likely face quick burnout. The supposed 4 days on, 3 days off schedule turns into 4 days on, 2 days off indefinitely, impacting your work-life balance significantly. For these reasons, I wouldn’t recommend this job to anyone I care about.



Get wage and hours expected in writing because management will lie and cheat you out of wages. Worst management I've seen or dealt with in 20 years.
They talk about community driven and then walk all over the staff.
They also don't give you the information you need to succeed or work safe.
Overall not a place I'd recommend. 
Now your co-workers are great or can be.
60 hours a week might be cool for some.

Your coworkers are typically great. Management is horrible and is a huge reason why no one stays for long duration, you'll see many people come and go constantly. Literally no one likes the manager. Just overall don't recommend working here. Full of drama, which is never dealt with. 

Management is not all on ONE cohesive page. Management is the biggest issue. If you have opinions/thoughts and aren't afraid to express them, avoid working at this place. Management likes to change up stories and versions of things that have happened to benefit them and not the employee. Not having employee's best interest in mind. Just very poor management (Main manager mostly)

What I was expected to do was keep store clean and shelves faced. keep cooler stocked and bathrooms clean. Meet any customer needs. Also had to sweep parking lot.

Standard warehouse and/or sales positions offering average wages and commissions. The hardest part of the job is dealing with management who aren't able to effectively communicate in a clear and respectful manner with employees. Opportunities for promotions are extremely rare due to nepotism.

Good Family company. Growing rapidly. Lots of opportunity to move around, but not up. Do not micro-manage if targets are reached/exceeded. Able to create your own work day based on geography to maximize your own sales numbers.

Being a floor working is boring, the work they set out for you could easily be completed in 1/3 the time of your shift. you have work when you fist come in to clean the mess that had come during the day. and work at the end of shift to clean the floors and take the garbage out

My typical day would include serving the public and handling and balancing cash.  Keeping the store tidy.  There wasn't any hard part of the job except when I had to work by myself late at night.

Learned valuable sales experience and how to mange your own time. Typical day starts around 7am, end around 4-5pm depending on how good your day was. Perks are the free candy
