Packaging department makes as much pay as the janitors do, plus do half their work. The words "Mandatory Overtime" are used often, and managers really don't want to get involved in any drama that takes place because it usually involves a favorite employee.
Upper management likes to give out awards to managers, and overlook the ones that are doing their job making the company money, and corporate office loves to give no more than a 1% raise ever year, which usually works out to be around $0.08 - 0.10 an hour more.

Policies only apply to certain people
No acknowledgement of work ethic
No incentive to want to advance. Everyone gets same pay, bonus and raise  regardless of how you work.
HR is only there to protect company not the employees
Toxic work environment
Conflict of interest as upper management is a group of friends, a husband and wife included. 
Company is run like a family run businesssr ather than a company.
Poor staff morale due to many reasons. 
Would never recommend anyone to work there. 
Only positive is great benefits.


A fun workplace with some great people to work and hang out with. I got to expand my sense of diversity with the cultural diversity at Sekisui. The most stressful part of the job is when reviewing a returned order (you may want to be extra diligent performing your task to avoid going down this road).
The most enjoyable part of the job is being taken from the line to go read SOPs. 

What a great place to work!   Management is active, available and wants to make it better.   No lack of things to do for social or wellness initiatives.   We won Canada's Top 100 Companies to work for and that speaks for itself.    The pay is fine but the benefits are the best around anywhere.   I really really like working for Sekisui here in PEI and feel it is a hidden gem.

Sekisui itself is a great company however the local management team does an unfortunate disservice to this. It is important to note that these reviews for Sekisui as a whole are not entirely reflective of employee experience because all employees sign an extensive agreement not to discuss internal business of any nature.

I've enjoyed my time here. Great work environment, most people are very easy to get along with. Upper management is excellent. Benefits and retirement plan are very good. Salary is low compared to similar positions in neighboring companies.

Very negative work Environment, managers did not want to listen or deal with issues on daily basis! Employees Terminated for no reason. Would not recommend Sekisui Diagnostics.

I have nothing bad to say.  As long as you are willing to work and learn there is no problem.  Many people cant handle the assembly line work with a full day of standing but there are opportunities for more technical jobs

Awesome place to work that offers flexible working hours within certain departments.  There are advancement opportunities for those with the right work ethic

Too many meetings were conducted to figure out what direction was needed to be taken.  Tactic I believe was used to disperse accountability among middle management.
