After working for Select Finishing for 3 years I have to say it wasn’t the worst thing ever, also not the best  . The people where mostly pretty great , very chill and easy to get along with . The work was fairly easy unless you where a painter . A painters position is the most stressful job at Select Finishing as your responsible for making the company it’s money . Any thing goes wrong , mechanically, chemically . It usually gets brought back on you and management expects you to have to answers . Other than that you pretty must sit on a chair all day and rub plastic

I get everything ready for the line that they have on your list and they come out and change it because no inventory.
you cant trust ppl there and its toxic place to work.
management don't no what's going on and cant answer your questions.not friendly .
work culture is very toxic employee think there the boss.
hardest part of job is figuring out what is going on everyone is running around trying to understand what there job is.
most enjoyable is getting water handed out on hot days 

Select has a great team in place and a very friendly and welcoming work environment. Management is very helpful and respectful, if you ever need anything you can always ask. The job can be very stressful at times and is a fairly fast paced environment. Overtime is possible during the busy times of year. I have really enjoyed working for Select over the past three years. I have learned a lot and it has been a great opportunity.

i actually liked working  there but i am worth more than 16 dollars a hour day goes by fast most employees are easy to get along with  i am worth to much to work that hard. the owners are nice .most management is  it was the money not enough  its about the money for me money talks pay more get more people .better quality of people plus they would work harder .remeber you get what you pay for management

Owners are great poeple just wish they would of cared more about there Team Members and pay them more

They never fallow procedures and just want to get parts out the door 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
A lot of hard lifting on powder and ecoat line at load and unload

Select Finishing is not prepared for growth. It is not a great place to work. It is chaos most times. Nothing changes here although management makes a lot of promises. If it stays like this, workers will have no choice but to bring in a union. A couple supervisors are too good for this environment. Others throw workers below them under the bus every chance they get. Management cares only about their own success.

The safety does not feel like a priority; ( health & safety coordinator has no formal training) Training is little. If you Value, the back; beware it will become sore. A lot of un-safe bending. 

Work life to personal life is not well balanced. Expect upper management too look down upon you if you work the floor.  
 
Your fellow floor employees will be the best part, but with the high turn over rate have a good memory. 

Place is very dirt and not adequate lighting to inspect parts. Not much supervision (only from bossy co-workers) basically no guidance and not proper PPE for wet product.  First day worked told staying late last minute due to customer requirements or would shut down customer.  Poorly Managed and HR uses fowl language.  Never paid for one days work. Would not recommend working here.

Owner and uppers Don't know what they are doing always point their fingers at everyone else when things go wrong. Says what they need to get what they need from workers then goes back on the agreement afterwards. When you reach the goal they wanted from you it's not good enough they expect more after that.

Good place to work at lots of hours to be worked ,fast pace place. Come in and do what is asked of you and go home team orianted work area that is asked to meet a work sheet for the day feel like you belong there from begining of your day they sometime have dinners for the employees.kind of work is sanding,buffing painting of car parts and boat parts
