One of the worst call centers I have ever worked in. The computers are 20 years old, the monitors flicker and give people headaches, and the management is extremely rude. They tell you in training that it's like a family, but when you need to miss a day for a legitimate reason they lose their minds. It's disgusting how low the pay is for what you have to learn. There are over 100 pharmaceutical companies that you have to deal with, so the amount of information is extremely overwhelming. The trainer is decent, but the length of training is much too short. No benefits. Constant call after call. They tell you in training it's a chill job, but when you get on the phones it's a nightmare. The only plus is sometimes they work with your schedule if you ask enough times. Big yikes.

Great workplace . management support was there when needed but you were not micro-managed. you were encouraged to learn all aspects of the company so that if they needed a fill in we as a group could share the responsibility. It was fast paced and multitasking was not just a word,it was a daily job requirement . My favorite part of the job was working with the customers . I liked making them feel heard when something didn't seem to be going their way ,solving the issue together and putting a smile on their faces . the worst part of the job was having to leave after so many years .

Honestly one of the worst places I've worked. They brag that they are like "a family" but even the worst family you can think of treats eachother better than management treats the employees. The job is extremely stressful and demanding with constant back to back calls for 12-13 hours a day  - because they cant keep employees!! The computers are at least 20 yrs old. The programs used from the 80's. Employees still HAND WRITE their hours on a timesheet.  There are REAL call centers and then there is Selectcore.

Working in this environment I have done all of my working days. I have worked in many call centers however this one seems to put stats above customer relations. 
If you enjoy the 5 seconds to maybe breathe between calls than this is not the place for you.
Management is amazing and work very hard to assist with anything needed in home life. However this is also not a company that seems to care about employees. The old adage of you are just a number to this company seems to definitely fit.

When I first started there I thought it was a great place worked there are couple of months and you see everything that is wrong. First the breaks 2 10 min breaks and a 20 min lunch the computers are so old half of them dont work. The management is a joke if you have an issue or a problem and need to ask a supervisor a question unless they like you your going to have to solve it and if you make one mistake you are fired no second chances I left before I could be firedd

* Good health/dental coverage
* Company covered holiday and other event lunches
* Learned a LOT in my position that I have taken with me throughout my career
* the hardest part was long hours (however scheduling was very flexible)

The staff is like an extended family.  Very friendly and helpful.

Working at SelectCore I have learned the prepaid financial card industry inside and out, from customer to supplier, Association and bank.  I am involved in every aspect of the division which I enjoy, as opposed to in a much larger company where everything is much more compartmentalized.

Honestly, one of the best places to work in Chatham-Kent, everyone is so welcoming and it honestly feels like you have a second family working there. The supervisors and managers are absolutely amazing and wouldn't change a single thing about any of them. It was a blessing being an employee at Selectcore.

No positivity, demeaning.  The management don’t admit mistakes but will criticize you for yours.  The calls are in after another and you can’t take to long on them it becomes exhausting.  Pay is ridiculous for job responsibilities and no advancement or benefits.  

The title says it all. The interview process was short which I liked. You start by working on just one or two clients and eventually learn all of them, so it's a lot to know but there's reference material. It's a decent place but I was at minimum wage the whole time.
