Miscommunications and language barriers with other international students, but it is well-managed with effective verbal and written communication skills

Supportive and collaborative environment from the management, staff, and students

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good environment to work.  Nice people. But they only give hours to their favorite people.
And their favourites doesn’t work too hard .


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No getting enough hours . The rest is fine. There is no stress in general.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Cool, inclusive, relaxing . We just have to do our work and all good

I go into work daily and love the way I am greeted each time. I have learned how to properly approach someone with a higher position than myself, using the correct manners and vocabulary according to their position. I have learned how to answer the telephone correctly as well as take down messages for the other employees.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Flexible hours. Easy to learn tasks and responsibilities.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Language barrier between fellow co-workers

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very relaxing and fun sometimes.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
2 hours event staff. Rest is inventory management and rest.

SSF is an incredible place for transition, specially for international students who are studying. This work place has provided me with perfect base of understanding canadian workplace. With my sheer hardwork and dedication I am office supervisor. I believe in working hard, efficiently and maximise potential to reach the goal.

Working with the Seneca Student Federation Inc. has the best employment environment that no one will ever experience anywhere else.
The management is very considerate and values the hardworking and productivity of the employees. The most enjoyable part of the job was the multi-cultural environment.

Atmosphere is nice and friendly, working there is very much motivating and fun. Management respectful and decent.  I learned a lot of things about administration and working in an office environment.
