The owners don't invest in their staff, they don't check in and you won't receive anything unless you ask for it.  The clients range in their abilities but sometimes time can go really slow or you may have a really dirty job.  The clients are the best part as they often appreciate what you do for them and notice when you add special touches or efforts.  Perfect job for someone who wants independence but doesn't need to depend on a regular income.

Management helpful, always took into consideration your family life when scheduling. Clients mostly elderly who were joy to work with. Company had no control over the hours however, that was determined by someone at Eastern Health, so I did do some short shifts and had to go from one client to another, sometimes doing 3 shifts in a day. 

Working for Serenity has been great for a university student like myself, I am able to choose my hours around my school schedule and during the summer I am able to work full time. The office staff are always ready to answer and questions or provide additional training if you feel uncertain about anything. I have really enjoyed the clients they have matched me with so far.

They force you to do unreasonable tasks. I was seriously injured on the job. Prior I said I needed support they denied that. I really hurt my back. I am still in cronic pain a year later. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES!

Serenity is a great place to work! I have flexibility in my schedule, supportive co-workers and the work I do feels really meaningful. Very fulfilling position.

The owners work at the business. The other office staff are great to deal with and provide help. Work as much or as little as you want. May heave to travel to get to your clients.
