I would love to work there permanently. On a typical day I woud arive and dive right into work. The days are pretty busy and the time woud fly by. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I learned a bit about working with the computer program Imagis. I worked with excel spreadsheets. The hardest part of the job was dealing with unreasonable people on the phone. The most enjoyable part of the job was there was almost always something new to learn.

A typical day is filled with various tasks, and at times I have to multi-task, I learn something new everyday weather it be work related or on a personnal level, I have a few different co-worker and I also have to work alone at times, Over the years I have had numerous co-workers with a variety of personalities. I find anything new or different a challange and I enjoy all aspects of my work.

I like this place to work as I find if any body wanted to upgrade or would like to have more courses related to their work, they can go and its arrange by the department. 

Who wont like to work in the department where the Manager encourages employees to learn more....

The company wants to preach that they support work life balance but when it comes right down to it they don't. 

They like to believe that they do but they are only out for what they want and will make management look good.

Some days the work was challenging but others it was not. Very repetitive.
Management was understanding and helpful, however due to the volatile nature of the political cycle there was always changes to management and sometimes the work.

A place where you go to every morning with joy. I have wonderful colleagues, and mangement is also great. Got to have exceptional attention to detail. I hate it when I make a mistake sometimes.

Poorly managed, constantly reorganizing, endless Staff & management churn. Goals & targets change weekly. No raises, pension is small.  overtime is time off only will not be paid out. no vacation carry over allowed

Great experience working within Service Alberta.  This department had many challenges at the time and all were working very diligently to achieve goals.  Great learning experience in project management.

It is nice to get together and spend time with co - workers to talk about stuff besides work. It is a nice break and an oppurtunity to bond and get to know co - workers.
