This particular position was very stressful and demanding. I started at 7:30 and end my day at work place at 5pm but on a regular bases worked at home as well till later. During this postion I learned I had alot of patience and could control high stress levels very well. This particular company was in a transition period where lots of changes were going on and not much planning had been thought of, Database that I was to use had mega multiple codes for same product,and coworkers were using all different codes in system which made monthly and yearly reports a mess. Being the purchaser the system couldnt tell me qty's of usages which made my job difficult and in result had to do alot of manually counts.My boss was great,but management and co-workers were very co-operative. I am proud that I can look at this experience and know with what I had to work with I did my best.

This is not a healthy environment to be in. Favoritism is a factor and being bullied happened to myself during my employment there. Office manager was made aware of the treatment from the other employee. I experienced this on my very first day of employment at the company. I made the office manager aware, however the answer i received was "that is just the way she is" . The bullying continued to happen and the office manager was made aware a 2nd and 3rd time. Again nothing done. After another day of this harassment I finally contacted the HR department, which was offsite. I do not recommend working at this company until CHANGES occur. The relationship between the Sales Coordinator/Customer service Rep and Office Manager is not appropriate in the workplace and favoritism is obvious. Hence why the last 3 people employed since February 2019 are no longer at the company. Very unfortunate.

Apparently Service Experts use to be a great place to work at but in the past few years things have spiraled out of control. Probably the most negative and toxic work environments I've been around.

A series of poor decisions by the recently departed CEO and upper management took the company from record high earning to something like 25% loss in two years and the results have shown. Huge staff turn around, Micro Managers and low morale. Recently sold by Lennox and bought by a public equity entity they've restored their previous CEO so it'll be interesting to see if he's able to turn the boat around.

I'm glad to have found work elsewhere and got out when I did, I didn't realize just how poorly that environment had effected me.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Despite being as big a company as they are, I don't feel I'm "just a number"

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
We could definitely use more Journeyman installers who are willing to train their helpers 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is the same here as anywhere else in the city, ranging from bitter cold in the winter (looking at builders, wondering why you getcheap with heat) to sweltering in the summer.

The culture is more nurturing than at other places I've worked.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
For what I do, I stop in early to stock up, if needed, and head out to take care of my scheduled tasks.  I am not rushed by the office, which helps me with providing the best product I can

The head dispatcher is the rudest most abrasive woman I’ve ever met, and favouritism is obvious when it comes to calls sent to you and he amount of hours you get. If she decides she doesn’t like you then you don’t get work. 
The most poorly maintained fleet vehicle I’ve ever driven. Asking for snow tires is often met with excuses or even hostility. 
Management was complacent and lazy at best. More time is spent “looking at” or “talking about” things than getting them done. The whole building had one poorly functioning combustion analyzer. 
The other fellows on the crew were great and good to work with and the wages were reasonable if you could get any hours.

Managed office team's progress and reviewed their work.
• Accurately manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, purchase orders, invoicing to customers and insurance companies using computerized and manual systems; • Updated data in accounting system by executing financial and productivity control reports, reconciliation of bank statements and other financial administration functions required to support achieving budget objectives;
• Month end reconciliations such as general ledger, bank statement and corporate credit cards; • Administration of employee benefits, payroll, and maintenance employee files within a specific time frame

What is the best part of working at the company?
None, they don't care about employees just results

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You are expendable.  The boys club is real and lives deeply rooted in the management of this business.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Negative, corporate overlords don't care about you, your a number

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
12 hours a day, 6 days a week, if your not available on a whim then you get cut out for the favorites the following week

This company is poorly run. They micro manage you to death. Tell you lies to keep you in your job with hope things will change and they never do.  Revenue has taken a nose dive since the previous owner left.  They hired someone to replace me but she doesn't even do my job - what a joke. You get paid to work your lunch, are expected to work overtime even if you don't want to. They provide you with laptops so you can do work at home. The morale is bad there and it is toxic. I'm glad I left.

enjoy meeting with a variety of customers and a variety of work from controls to furnaces , AC units to zoning and HRV systems

When the season is slow we are sent home so it is a feast or famine and difficult to balance family .

On call one weekend of every month and one day a week makes family life stressful.

Co-workers are great and share any information pertinent to new technology . Plenty of updates in innovation of new ductless split systems.

From the lack of training, to the management discussing you negatively with your co-workers this environment is toxic to anyone with any sound of mind. They try to cover up their lack of business skills, professional etiquette by throwing random BBQs and telling you about "office events where the boss pays for everything (including alcohol but shhh don't tell anyone and "it gets crazy""...umm no thanks!
