I got seriously sick, and was met with surprise scheduling changes, had to call in for the last few shifts of my probation period. Supervisor decided to terminate my employment on the last day.

Supervisor oversees multiple regions in the North leaving them spread thin, and unavailable at critical times. Management also not based in the North, again leaving leadership support non-existent.



Was told I would have support to get training starting out. This did not happen. It was at the height of COVID when no one was vaccinated and I had nurses coming into my office, almost sitting in my lap. These nurses would talk from 8:00-12;00 in the hallway. I guess they had nothing to do and they were quite disruptive to others who were working. They were mean and bullies and would send emails that were so hateful. They got away with it because their Supervisor just found excuses for them. 

Very productive overall good job and life balance good compensation and benefits and overall good experience working in healthcare providing care and assistance to the clients during the unpresident time of the vaccine roll out , Management demostrated good working skills and always helpful My experience working at the COVID site clinic for the past 2years has been very knowledgeable and interesting I'm very greatfull for the opportunity to be part of it all

I’ve had some great coworkers here, and some absolutely terrible ones. The problem is that the terrible ones are not dealt with, and create an awful work environment. Managers expect an unreasonable amount of work to be done when short staffed and offer little to no support. You are not valued as a person, you’re just a body filling a role. Unfortunately the pay is very good for the area I live in, which makes it very hard to leave this job, and is literally the only reason I am still here.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Benefits. That it. Nothing more. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No recognition. I've been a 15 year employee with no recognition at all. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Really bad!. No town halls. Really your just in your own. No support at all. The internal system don't work. There is no accountability at all. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
No. I'm not adding this information.

It depends what site your assign to work  some site you go to different places  and thats a hard thing to do  misericordia sites .. challenging place  management , work and  co-workers  some are nice and some are not  no room for advancement  and repetitive work   no support from contacting worker and management  you only work there because they are paying you  and you need money 

Past employee, terrible place to work.  Management is aweful and doesn't take care of their employees. I dedicate many years to this job, and over the past 5 years management has made several great employees quit.  Always short staffed, and the workload added. I would not recommend this place of work at all. The job could be very rewarding at times, but management is horrible and they need to learn how to take care of their employees. 

Great place to work. Everyone is so friendly and welcomed me right away. I’ve only been part of the team for 5 months and have already been promoted. Love it!

Shared health is a horrible company to work for.
The senior management teams are an absolute nightmare and they treat staff like numbers and not actual human beings. There is no work life balance and you are constantly reprimanded. Safety is a major concern and they enjoy sweeping issues under the rug at the expense of their staff.


Great group of peers. Work/Life balance is great. Excellent social committee, HR staff, and great mgmt. in the Finance and Supply Chain depts. A lot of growth and change happening. Communication within the departments and throughout the organization would be helpful. Fostering closer connections with management and staff within teams would help strengthen teams and increase morale.
