* Management : I was branch manager in charge of goods importation in co-relation with accounting department.

* Your co-workers ? Friendly,motivated and good cooperation between staff.

* The hardest part of the job ? Daily commercial income and financial year end.

*The most enjoyable part of the job ? When we receive the goods on time and good feedback from suppliers and clients.

Sheprott Security Services is a mediocre level company. I as a Car Jockey & Inspector drive newly made cars from the Chrysler plant. Get them inspected and lastly park them in their designated spot.

We are a team of 8 people everyday in a shift and it is nice working as a group. It facilitates learning. You come to know about people from other cultures as well.

The hardest part of this job is only the weather conditions. This job is outside in open. So during snow storms, rain and all bad weather conditions it gets a bit messy.

Unfortunately due to financial challenges the owner was forced to close the business, I did learn allot about management, communication and accountability, I learned if you want to take a business to the next level you really need to know who you are working with and all the players. I also learned to run a successful business all departments need to be on the same page and work as a team.

Typical day at work consisted of access control, Cash handling , Scale monitoring. Learned how to do transactions such as visa debit ect. Management was not so good as respect was not given towards the staff. Co workers were all polite and curteous. Hardest part of the job was the long hours daily for such low pay. Most enjoyable part of the job was the staff you had to work with as everyone was nice and respectful.

My review of the company shouldnt matter only because sheprott went out of business years ago. After working there for only 3 months, I was quickly promoted to security supervisor. Soon after my promotion, I obtained the job with great Canadian gaming and left sheprott.

It gave me the experience and knowledge that gave me some of the tools i needed to carry on with me in my years of work experience.  A very fast paced environment with day to day challenges, but wonderful staff and encouragement.

No job is perfect, sometime you need and extra job to makes ends meet. This is a perfect job for that and they accommodate you and the hours you need.

My shift started with getting a report from the previous guard.
Management was always available if needed.
Securing the site.
Keeping busy.
Hardest part was working alone.

the company is now bankrupt and no longer exist, didnt pay my last pay check and lack of management was clearly seen.
