Lots of the people are great to work with but the management is very toxic and cult like. I loved my job at first but it went downhill. 

You will be expected to work free overtime as well as work through lunch, and should be happy to do it. You get told you'll be recognized eventually. Getting a rasie is like pulling teeth, you have to be "doing more" but they refuse to give actual outlines or goals as to what deserves a raise. If you do get something its measily and basically told dont expect another one anytime soon. Or you get an "opportunity" for a bonus thats impossible to hit. 

Theres no clear expectations or transparency at all, you will get in trouble for not reading their mind and your job could be completely different than what you interviewed for with 0 heads up. The training is very poor as well. I had to learn 90% of the job on my own and no one knows anything about other people's jobs so you cant really ask others for help. 

They promote people who should not be managing anyone and treat reception and anyone they consider "lower than them" terribly. If you dont live and breathe for your job this is not the place you, you will not fit in and they will make you miserable and try to make you feel guilty for wanting work life balance. Save yourself the stress.

From day one, your managers - which sounds funny even saying 'managers' because over the course of only a short amount of time, everyone at the location became 'your friend.' Management has been - above and beyond - in every aspect of not only just making a final sale but in every bump of the road and I know some personal touches done by management was not in their job description. This is a work place where you truly realize the importance of a strong team environment. 

At the end of the day, this company is performance driven and the expectation of strong results and respectful customer/business relations is key. With no surprise on sale careers, the hours can be long and with personal goals, work at times can be considered stressful. 

Nonetheless, if you keep a positive mindset through 'slow months' and your goals become your results, you'll noticed very quickly this career is financially rewarding with no prior experiences required. 


Work included recommended and performing maintenance, warranty and general repairs on many types of vehicles. There was much to learn about the automotive trade including mechanical and electrical functions in cars, the use of various tools as well as troubleshooting and repair diagnosis. 
The company is run by a conglomerate, and management generally follows the hands-off approach.
My coworkers included students, journeymen and apprentice mechanics, salesmen and administrative employees. 

The most difficult part of the job is transitioning to a full-time role that suits my education, my experience and my career goals. 

I very much enjoyed spending my days helping customers solve concerns, fixing problems and practicing one of my hobbies for a living.

They treat their employees better then most places.

Always the customers and its hard to get parts these days.

Its an incredibly busy dealership. They do volume in sales. The service department is the busiest i have ever been at.

Show up early. Leave late. Do all the things and more. Its busy.

Working with the sales staff for customer satisfaction

The service manager is hard to get along with and is belittling

I really hope things have changed here since my experience 3 years ago but this was by for the most stressful job I have ever had. The constant fighting between service and parts cause me to leave. The managers individually were fine but all they ever did was fight amongst themselves and bring their employees down with them. These people were fighting over parking. PARKING!!!

really awesome people work here however sales is definitely not a job for everyone you need to be very motivated and be able to work 12 hours a day for 6 days a week for a few years if this is the career you want

A typical day at work, I answer phone calls, any customers coming into the dealership. I'm constantly doing something, often I'm also getting quotes for customers whether it be parts or service.

great place to work, great staff and managment, everyone is really friendly and easy to get along with, great place to be if your just getting into sales or looking for a long term place to work, everyone from the dealer principal to lot guys are really nice and easy to get along with
