A day at my location is typically very upbeat and positive, my team and i always laugh and have fun while working, in the years I've worked for the company I've learned that it doesn't matter how long you have been with the company, if you want to move up you have to prove you deserver to do so, when i first started with showcase i was only hired to be seasonal help, but i kind of just stayed and became lead stock person and now I'm an assistant manager and i am super happy with how far i have come, i hope to eventually move up to be a manager of my own store one day.

Fun and light-hearted job, get to talk to people and test products

dealing with customers who dont want to provide their phone number or question prices

it was not the most supportive i felt belittled at times

restocking shelfs, sweeping floor, working cash register, helping customers find products

CEO engagement with employees, caring , respectful , encouraging. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing  is stressful working for this company. The support given is phenomenal

Fantastic  environment, lots of communication and support

A relaxed atmosphere, tasking , selling, merchandising

Although the pay here is decent for the job you have to do it is not a good company to work for. Customers get angry when you ask them to sign up and you definitely do get in trouble when you don’t sign people up. The return policies are completely ridiculous which also leads to angry customers. Basically you have to deal with a lot of angry customers due to the ridiculous expectations from management. Also the teams are very small so it is impossible to get a shift covered- even in the case of an emergency. Time off requests are very hard too.

As per most retail places these days, it's the management and upper management that cause all the issues. There is no HR department so good luck in getting any issues resolved. It was one of the worst places I ever worked. If you don't meet their expectations of selling warranties on products, you will get written up and possibly lose your job. It doesn't matter your location or customers or sales. Every location has the same unachievable goal. 

Fun place to work at! Especially with friends. Decent pay but low hours that have to be split. Fast and slow paced environment some days are busier than others and that’s where scheduling can be tricky depending on which location you are at (sometimes you’re alone for 5 hours). You do get to try out all the new fun things!

Working at Showcase is an incredible experience! It's a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you get to interact with customers and showcase the latest and greatest products. The team at Showcase is super friendly and supportive, creating a positive and energetic atmosphere. Plus, you get to stay up-to-date with the coolest gadgets and trends. It's a great place to work if you love being in the know and helping customers find exactly what they're looking for

They're very nitpicky about every little thing, you are not paid for the time you work after close which can amount to an hour at times, The products are faulty which can lead to the demos easily breaking and the blame being put on you.

There is little to no room to grow and management can be very irritable and unprofessional.

The only benefits I can think of is the employee discount, and some of the products are kind of cool.

You never know if you're going to get hours.

Usually good. But lately very poor.

Slow. Except for at Christmas time.
