Morning Meeting with site manager and techncians. Current activities review with regional manager. Safety trends and good practice review. Pre-planning documentation, work instructions, safety requirements for the task at hand. Emergency Response/Evacuation reminders. Stretch and bend completed with all members. Safety Targets set to ensure zero harm culture is followed. Teamwork environment focused collaboration among peers, with effective communication with project managers, engineering, and support personnel.  

Working in Siemens-Gamesa, one will have the opportunity of enjoying a very friendly environment. You are never over loaded and work/life balnce is really achieved. The only problem might be with promotions and the whole structure which does not provide easy promoting opportunities. The only problem might be for engineers who are contracted through outside consulting companies. They do not have access to all promotional resources of the Siemes-Gamesa and as they are spending almost all their time in Siemes-Gamesa they neither are in contact with their own companies to get promoted. So the situation is a little bit unfair to them.

The plant just opened so there are a lot of ups and downs, but the overall work experience is good, I’ve never work in wind turbines industry before and I learn with my coworkers (Danish and French) to become efficient and produce quality products.
The workplace culture is already integrated by all of us, there is the plant newspaper every month, the last day of each Night Shift, a small meal is organized, we all have to bring a small something.
I think the hardest part of the job would be that the plant just opened and we are facing a lot of delays in everything, but in the other hand I really enjoy having such nice coworkers and bosses 

Very busy days, in wind things change on an hourly basis. It was a fun learning experience working there. I had the chance to work with a very great Senior Management team and a fantastic team of direct reports that made everyday a great fun filled enjoyable day at work. I would never think twice about joining back up with that team in any working environment.

Hundreds of employees have been let go due to COVID only to find out their RRSP contributions/matching had never been paid their own union employees. Worst management I have ever experienced! Too many managers/supervisors in logistics, not enough personnel. 
Very toxic culture in the logistics department., Senior Logistics staff is destroying the image of the company. 

Hours and Vacation time is flexible.  They understand your Family Life and what is important to you.  You can also buy and sell Vacation Time.  Annually they allow you to make changes to your benefits to suit your needs.  Everything is online from HR to Benefit Coverage questions and answers.  They provide you with a Cell Phone and Laptop, including 3 weeks vacation to start.

the job was interesting and was never boring their was a lot of on the job thinking involved you never went to work with the same situation. it was nice to see the accomplishments from to start to end.

Overall a great place to work but unfortunate that I was not kept on and relocated to another place when my contract ended. Would've gladly stayed as my colleagues were brilliant.

Management aren't upfront or fort coming. Kept you in the dark about the faith of the plant. 
Showed up to work to find the gates locked & no one there to give you any information

Excellent company to work for. Treat their employees well and great benefits offered. Learn something new every day at work. Never a dull moment. Takes a lot of time and practice to learn the work instructions.
