Worst company to work for. Manager of this particular location was ill-mannered, offensively impolite and arrogant. I was not trained at all but was expected to work same like other employees working there from years. Only 3-4 employees were there from years rest I noticed any new employee who joins leaves within a month or so, due to lack of respect and the 3-4 employees who worked there from some time were extremely unsupportive, non-team friendly, highly competitive in a negative way. They literally ignore and corner you and feel like you just want to leave from here. 
The most stressful part about working at this company was not customers at all it was very poor management and definitely coworkers that were allowed to create and behave in a highly negative working atmosphere.
I worked here for only 2 months with great difficulty. 

I worked at the Dieppe store (#5257) and found the job itself a good paced job, technically you should be able to make a decent living doing this work but not here. Commission at 0.25% is outright laughable, not to mention low hourly rates. 

I was never told anything about commission or salary. 

The Manager here is a good person, but he tries too hard for the wrong things. One of the employees literally hides in the back for most of her shift, favouritism at its finest. 

I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Very poor  management and a sales staff that were allowed to create and behave in a highly negative working atmosphere. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Not good at this particular location. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Working around egg shells trying to please unhappy employees.

At the beginning it is a really wonderful place to work but once you've been there long enough everything goes down hill... starting with district managers promising something and never coming back to it. Or HR department with complaints. Several jewellery consultants and even managers contacted HR complaining about the current district manager about how they do not give our stores any support that is needed and could care less about anything. Over the years i have noticed that the company has been getting worse and worse in the way of how they are treating the staff.

This company is not a good company to work for. They will work you until you are dry. I have seen many managers have mental breakdowns because of the district manager and higher ups. I have seen, and I have done as well, people in the bathroom sick to their stomach because certain higher ups are coming. There is no job security. If you are a manager, you are on call 24 7. There are no such things as a day off. The commission is next to nothing. If you ask for a raise you are promised one just to be turned down.

My experience at Signet Jewellers highlighted concerns around a highly autocratic work environment and limited transparency in decision-making. Career growth did not always seem merit-based, with advancement opportunities appearing uneven.

Compensation at the store level felt low relative to the expectations of a specialized retail role. Overall, there were limited opportunities for progression, making it easy to feel stuck in the same position without a clear path forward.

The workload is extremely heavy and not proportional to the salary. Overtime is often announced last minute, making it difficult to maintain work-life balance.

While some colleagues are kind and supportive, others—especially within management—lack basic respect toward employees. Communication is restricted in certain areas, and movement requires checks. Overall, the environment feels highly controlled and stressful.

The pay was consistently below industry standards, making it difficult to feel valued for the work I was doing. Unfortunately, the management was another issue. Trust was a major problem, and I often felt like the leadership didn’t have the team’s best interests in mind. Overall, while the job offered some experience, it was hard to stay motivated with the low compensation and lack of trust from management.

In the long run you have to remember it's a sales job you are competing with the other people that are there to make sure you have the sales. That said it's a fun environment exciting stories to hear from customers everyday, great low-cost benefits, not so great pay, immediate management fantastic and tries very hard to work with everybody's worked a life ratio
, extended fantastic management more concerned about bottom line then people most of time

This company is absolutely horrible with management and a lot of bullying and harassment happens. I worked for them for 4 years and the staff turn over is very often and that’s due to the management being untrained and feeling superior. They are also completely out to date when it comes to work expectations and working in this era.
