They sell you something really fake, acting like this is the best company you will ever work for starting from the interview stage. 

Leadership is full of egocentric and emotionless people who have unrealistic expectations and are ready to attack or malign you if you even attempt to show you're human. Makes you wonder if they actually enjoy and feed on the drama or evil aura. This is after they've pretended to be open, caring and willing to hear your thoughts or feedback which can really backfire on you if you're honest. This seems like a little game to them. Many times, they don't know what they're doing and have a problem with who doesn't just follow their script and do as they're told, even if it doesn't make sense. The feedback managers give are usually vague and inconsistent, mistakes are blown out of proportion, subordinates are made to feel they could never do anything right, statements are misinterpreted and traps are set to 'catch' people in imperfect situations. Your job is constantly dangled in your face for the slightest issues that could be overlooked if they have anything better to do. No one knows where the company is headed as the turnover rate is ridiculously high and even with this obvious issue, there's still no structure, only chaos everywhere.

As a lady, you might be a little more safe if you belong to a 'Stepford Wives' clique who are some of the nastiest gossips you will meet and full of petty, childish people, including the older and supposedly experienced leaders who should know better or be busy with strategizing and higher level activities.

They have a good sales pitch to reel you in. They then start to panic when they realize you've noticed many failed promises, and shifting job descriptions while making you do jobs outside your expertise. It's not uncommon to work as a cleaner or a mover for instance when you're hired in totally different line of work there.

Employees are disrespected, spoken to condescendingly and belittled. Nothing else matters as long as you can dance to their tune of rubbish and leaders tend to have favourites in teams who act as spies ready to throw colleagues under the bus. It's not uncommon for leaders to pit people against each other just to find irrelevant things they can use to implicate their targets. And how about the leaders who feel the need to reinforce they're not micromanagers repeatedly as soon as you come in only for them to behave exactly like mentally unstable micromanagers? I could go on and on.

You would think the disturbing online reviews and the exit interviews they conduct would open their eyes to what people feel and motivate improvements but it's all on paper. It's strange the company got the 'Great place to work' certification for a number of years which is pretty suspicious as employee reviews tell a different story. Employees are indirectly forced by their managers and the executives to complete the survey as there's strength in numbers for the certification. Don't be deceived by the badge which the company would give an arm and leg for just to look good. It's when you work here you will understand titles don't necessarily depict the truth about what's going on. They are just gotten desperately by all means and most likely through politics.

The turnover rate here is ridiculously high which speaks volumes. So is the number of openings which is constant. Accept an offer here for brief experience and to have an avenue to pay bills. If you want job fulfillment or peace of mind and plan to stay in a company for years, don't even bother.


Being a new immigrant, with good amount of professional experience back home, landing in a good job with a good work culture was very important to me. Many of my friends who also moved with me to Canada struggled a lot to get their first corporate break regardless of their experience back home. They said, "you need to be lucky to get a good offer". Well, I got lucky !

I was not surprised but felt fortunate to get a call from a company for a role that I was targeting to get into. Simply group is a very people friendly place. They treat you like a person, not an employee. That's reflected in how management approaches employees, no yelling and screaming about challenges, just collaboration and ideas. The office environment is very fun, and expansive. It is a very challenging company due to the pace and ingenuity around every corner, which is awesome. If you apply yourself, you'll go somewhere. 

 It's also given me the opportunity for both lateral and upward career development. There are endless opportunities to explore and advance your career at Simply.  It is an extremely fast-growing company and a wonderful place to work! The CEO truly cares about each individual, welcomes creativity, and leads by example. The culture at Simply is one of the best I've ever worked for and everyone is authentic and loves what they do.  The managers are always willing to help and will take time out of their day to dedicate to helping you if needed. Because Simply is growing so rapidly, there are a lot of changes that happen fairly frequently, which can be stressful for some.

Overall the place, people and culture is Simply the best !

Forget whatever these guys have said to you, this job is pure commission and it's door to door.
They have a program called Simply Support where they say you get paid 300/week for 3 weeks but it's actually a BONUS program and you only receive the $300 bonus if you have:
1. full attendance
2. Never late ie. be there 15 mins earlier
3. make 3 deals each week

They make it sound like this was base pay but that's not the case. However they give you training pay only if you stay for 2 weeks you'll receive that payment. ($100~)

The description says they are flexible but honestly they fully expect you to work 12 hour a day 6 days a week. It's a very hard job but the incentive is good. For 1 unit HVAC installed you'd receive 350. You do the math.

But yea it was sucks that they weren't clear on Simply Support

I started at Simplygroup 8 years ago and quickly found that it was unlike any sales team that I'd ever been a part of. This company recognized hard work had thier top sellers running work shops on a daily basis to help the rest of the staff. Everyone there actually cared if youd had a good or bad day and they promoted solely based on attitde and performance (No politics). Simply Group has allowed to travel all across this beautiful country making contacts and friends everywhere and has given me the oppurtunity to make any income that i want. If you are a hard worked this place will be paradise for you and you'll e able to start a meaning and rewarding career. Thank you Simply Group for helping to mold me into the person i am today.

It seems like a nice company, but when you peel back the layers of this onion, things are rotten and smelly.
The culture is horrible, they expect you to work extenuating hours (unpaid of course) and they have no clue about what priority means.
They work with crazy deadlines because someone without proper knowledge and analysis decided, and you will be called a negative person if you start to point with evidence why the deadline is unreal.
They have no consideration about you, your career growth nor your mental health. They only thing they pay attention to is $, whatever it takes!
It is a very toxic environment and their HR knows about employees complaints and does nothing. So, no hope for improvements.
Pay attention to how many openings they have, it's a huge red flag.

Worked for this company for over a year. 

I would not recommend it for anyone who is going to dig deeper into what the company actually does, how it makes it's money, if you have scruples, morals or don't want to rip off customers by charging 2-3 times the cost of the products.

I work as dispatch install team lead.  I joined this company in 2020 and since I have joined this company, I am in love with it.  I have worked at many places before but none like this one.  The support you get here, you can't get it anywhere.  By support I  mean everyone is very helpful when you need day off or you would like to work remotely for personal reasons.  On my day off, I miss work, and that says something about this company.  The pay/benefits are amazing.  This place give you every opportunity to grow and I can say that for my self as well.  This company does no micro manage you, but let you fly and explore the horizons. 


I've worked with the organization for four years, and every day is a new adventure. With an ever-changing company like Simply, you never know what surprises await you, but with the help of my colleagues, every day is an experience. My crew is fantastic, and they are quite supportive. My management are kind and help me grow my abilities to advance in my long-term career, and they actively participate in helping you reach your goals. I'm thrilled to see where Simply takes me and grateful for the adventure thus far. I would suggest Simply to anyone who is seeking; there's a reason they've been named employee of the year for so many years!

From top to bottom the company is filled with amazing and kind hearted people. Management has provided tremendous opportunity for personal growth and always ask 'how can I support you?'.

For employees hitting goals your achievements do not go unrecognized and you will be given the opportunity to progress your career/earnings potential upwards. Goals and targets are always fair, in my career I've often been given unattainable goals, but Simply cares about setting up individuals for success, not to fail.

Simply put, I have referred friends and family to Simply Group, I have never done that for another organization. 

The work environment was pretty good amongst the customer reps and junior associates. Management, Seniors and Executives really don’t care about the little people that are the heart of this company. Anything management level and up pays quite well but be prepared to work: crazy hours, fulfill insane requests and deadlines. Most importantly (to them), bow down to everyone above you; if you don’t, their immaturity will be your downfall.
