The hiring process was bearable however the training was a nightmare. We didn’t even learn anything in the whole first week of the 3 week training, due to everyone having system issues or people not writing down their passwords. There was no extra time or learning given to make up for the almost entire week lost to help prepare us for taking calls. There was a lot of information given in a short amount of time. 

Once we were on the phones, it seemed easy at first however there is 7-10 supervisors and none of them will help you without making you feel stupid or like you are bothering them. Every time I had to call a supervisor for anything, I got attitude and/or brushed off. And this staff has been in the company for years so they get away with treating people like this and have no intentions of stopping. 

Not only that, but they will change your schedule mid-week and schedule you on your days off, whenever they feel like it. They will change your hours and manipulate your schedule to fit their needs without advising you, asking you, or even mentioning it. You just are supposed to deal with it. Never experienced that working anywhere before, and I used to serve and bartend! 

The commissions can be okay but they really are nothing compared to how much money you bring the company (if you’re working for Enercare Inbound). They put me into new department training without any notice or warning, just changed my schedule and sent me an email the day before telling me I had training for 2 days and that was that. 2 days of training to learn retention, which is 10x more work and no pay raise. Just 6 bucks commission per call and if you don’t get good enough “QA” scores they will take that 6 bucks from you and you can’t do anything about it. 

You can follow the processes to a T and the supervisors will still tell you you are doing it wrong or find any excuse not to help. Any time I had a customer needing to speak with a supervisor I was told “no” blatantly and left to try and de escalate the situation myself, which never worked, and only made the company look worse but it all gets put on the person who took the call. 

All in all this was the worst job I’ve ever had.  Worst management, worst floor support, and the pay was not enough compared to how much work they expected you to do. I’ve never worked anywhere that made me feel so stupid every time I had a question or needed help. I would not recommend this company or work environment to anyone. 

I would advise to never apply, accept or work at this company. A typical day of work is unproductive, no support from management, and agents are hired soon as they apply based on the agents consiantly quit the role due to poor structure and support. They training is the only acceptable aspect of this company. They do not follow any proper hiring process, screening and hire anyone who wants to work here. Learned that working here is probably the worst experience I had in my life and that they are not a company you can grow with or move up with salary of role wise. Management lets agents abuse the role by missing shifts, be late for shifts be over breaks and lunches and there is no consequences or a formal write up process. Workplace culture is the worst I have come across due hiring anyone that wants to work no matter their social class or caliber as person. This job is hard based on due to old systems, lack of support and process not being clear to follow. The acceptable part would the certain agents and team leader are nice individuals but management is not trustworthy and useless. They do not server purpose. This company need to be restricted and improve their hiring process to be up to regulations and take the proper screening process to hiring individuals who are suitable for the role and professional. Stay far away from this company as they never pay over time or the commission you are due.

I was working with them for almost 2 months, as Customer Service Representative. If you like a paid short assignment this is the place to work for. If you like to work for a company to grow, this is not the right one. Leadership is very bad. And they do not want to improve. There are supervisors that are so shy that do not even want to see you, nor talk to you. Hard to receive feedback, hard to improve. It is a company that does not want to take advantage of their employees potential.  
They conduct 3 weeks paid training, which is nice because is paid, but the trainers are ineffective and the training is inefficient. They could do it in 2 weeks if they do it fine. But they do not want to improve or receive feedback about it. Every month 30 people are trained. Half of them quit after training and maybe they were not even interested in working here. Then, current workers are fired and replaced by new employees recently trained. So there is a high rotation of customer service reps every month. 
I found one senior supervisor that was very good, however, the leadership culture does not allow SinglePoint to take advantage of that to guide junior supervisors. 
It seems there is not an HR function, just analysts that obey supervisors orders. I was fired, but HR analysts did not know why. 
If you want a paid 3 weeks course go for it. If you want a company where you are appreciated, a company that sees your potential or at least give you a feedback to do it better, or a company to grow with, this is not the one.

Working at SinglePoint has been one of the worst experiences of my life. The managers, supervisors, and team leaders are incredibly disrespectful and treat employees like disposable objects. They show no regard for your well-being or personal life. Every day is a struggle to even get through your shift without being belittled or micromanaged.

The worst part is how unprofessional and uncaring the management team is. They're constantly watching you like a hawk, ready to pounce on you for any small mistake, but never offering constructive feedback. There is zero support if you’re struggling, and any attempt to ask for help is met with condescension. The team leaders are incredibly power-hungry and have no interest in helping employees succeed – they’re more concerned with their own advancement.

The company offers minimal insurance coverage, which is essentially useless. It’s not enough to cover anything substantial, and they don't seem to care about your health or security. If you’re sick or dealing with personal issues, don’t expect any sympathy or understanding.

The pay isn’t great, and when you combine that with poor management, awful benefits, and zero recognition for your hard work, it’s clear that SinglePoint is only interested in using its employees. If you value your mental health and need a job that respects you, DO NOT apply here. It’s toxic, and the company doesn’t care about its people.

Day one they had technical problems that they went behind their own schedule. Without other managers knowing that day 2 was more of a mess because of them trying to continue like we fully completed day 1.  Managers sounded fed up with the whole process on day 1 even raising their voice at multiple points in frustration to people who are here trying to learn about the programs they have never used before. Sometimes it wasn't just raising voices it was disappointing sighs into the mic or saying something that made you nervous to actually ask for help. 

After everything settled programs were working somewhat okay, a few technical problems were had and I had to step out a few to speak with their I.T to settle them. You are left behind if that happens and only 3 weeks to learn at least 2 months worth of information it was not worth my time to stay. Unfortunate because from what I saw the commissions were decent but the job itself was stressful and the programs they used are so outdated. Overall by the end of it I felt too anxious trying to speak to the managers there after seeing how they speak to you and that alone is enough for me to move on for another company.

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy it is a horrible place to work the lunch room is always busy so you have no place to sit. the so-called team leaders are never around when you need them and if something actually goes wrong you get blamed not them. I work there for almost a year and never received a bonus every time I brought this up to payroll they told me they were looking into it but never did. Just before I left they brought in a new policy where you had to take all of your brakes in the first 3 hours after that you are not allowed to leave your desk other than to go to the washroom. as long as you do your work and keep your mouth shut their happy with you but the first time you question anything they bring you into HR and tell you you're not a fit for the company and let you go. If you're looking for a and job with no possibility of being promoted and this is the place for you but if you're looking for a place where you are appreciated this is definitely not the job for you I recommend you stay well away from this place and look somewhere else for a better job. Any job is better than this place

I waisted two years of my life working at this company. The pay was very low, started with $14 and they raised it to $17.50 due to a heavy workload, call volume, stress, lack of life/work balance which many employees and supervisors quit. However the job related stress became twice more with the wage raise. The management is very pool, some of the supervisors are rude and don’t support which is understandable as they’re underpaid and overworked. They pressure you to be a robot and have no feeling and do redundant work and read everything of their screen verbatim. There’s no growth but favoritism is a norm. They promote low IQ agents to become a supervisor and who fail to meet the company’s goal but blame the agents for their shortcomings. They don’t hesitate to fire anyone who they feel to be threatened by their intellect and qualifications and they don’t care of the agent brings profit to the company. On the top of the toxicity you have to deal with toxic and rude customers and still sell them products. Schedules keep changing within a minute and you should be available 24/7. This job is a joke

I have worked years at cgc part time and full time. They are flexible on scheduling for school but not full time. Training is a joke, you're expected to pick it up right away or they threaten to write you up. You have to share cubicles. There is a communication problem hence different TLs would say different things. Favoritism is constant with TLs and management. If the management likes you then you can do as you want. Cgc is cheap and wouldn't provide a raise to employees who are deserving. The company holiday party management made employees bring in food. There are no incentives for anything. Management keeps adding on duties but no pay increase. No appreciation for hard workers only for favourites. 
Cgc is always hiring which means no one stays long. I was loyal to them and hard working but never appreciated.

If you don't require coaching you can breeze through the day just performing your duties and logging out at the end of the shift. 

The company says it's looking for talented individuals to grow with them but that is not accurate at all. Growth at SinglePoint is based on minimum wage increases. If you take on extra roles and responsibilities it will not be a promotion and they will use commission to justify the increase in responsibility. 

They rely heavily on Supervisors filling in training gaps which is not a good way to have employees learn new interactions. The Sups are great and very friendly, it's unfair on them how undertrained their employees are for production. 

It is like jail. (I've never been.)  However, it is a large room with tiny desk space. It is incredibly loud.  The team leaders speak down on you in a condescending manner.  The person in charge of the phone system and directing calls has a real chip on their shoulder.  The so-called supervisors speak to you like you're dirt.  The management pushes sales ridiculously hard.  Singlepoint is the customer of a large electricity provider in the USA.  And they are underhanded with the treatment of their customers.   I'm not comfortable working in a place that is dirty to their customers.  The customer does not matter.  What matters is the almighty dollar.  There are some disgusting low-ife so-called supervisors with the most filthy vile language I've ever seen in a workplace or anywhere else for that matter.  
 They go through an astronomical amount of staff.  Worst place in the world to work.
