Don't bother applying if you're an apprentice..took a long time to become registered, they KEEP your tips, don't provide education, and I never knew who my journey person was to ask for help. 
Management is greedy and unsupportive. We hardly got products for retail sales and we're not given colours to perform services for almost 5 months. No hiring contract and refused to answer my questions about employment. Commission percentages were poor and good luck getting a raise. They only kept increasing their customer prices and said it was for our benefit yet clients started complaining. 
Save your mental health..it destroyed mine. 

When working for a Singletons, you really feel like part of a team... or a family really! There is always an opportunity for advancement and increased wages. Management is great and is always there to help and support you when you need. There is always walk in traffic so you have the chance to build your clientele. Commission rates are among the best I have seen, and I have worked for different salons in the past. Hours are very flexible and you have the opportunity to switch locations if you need. It is a very fun and friendly atmosphere to work in, very welcoming!

Never knowing what might be coming in the door, what problems you have to deal with in that day.I've leard to be understanding of others needs.I've been in management so I understand what they have to deal with everyday.My co workers are great team.The hardest part of my job is to make the client happy if their not sure what they may want. Most enjoyable part of my day is meeting new people

Owners/upper management is very concerned with their own profit at the expense of good employees.  Their treatment of both staff and clients is disrespectful, demeaning and serves only the upper echelons of the company. It is someplace I wouldn't recommend working for - even to my worst enemy.

The work environment at this company is one of the most positive atmospheres I have experienced in my professional career. A solid management group that is helpful and supportive of their employees. Competitive pay and benefits. Definitely recommend working here.

The clients were great. They gave great tips too.one of my former teachers employed me. I had all the support and training I needed to succeed. We also had extensive redkins certification for colour and products

Coworkers are great, but head office doesn’t not listen to the concerns of their employees and have expectations that feel unrealistic which is one reason the turn over rate is so high.

Though I love my job, the management wasn't very good. Life balance wasn't great, as hours constantly changing and staff over turn is crazy. Unrealistic expectations caused me to leave.

They are a family owned business and the current owners are SHADY people. Please be very wary of this company, and if ur working for them pay attention to ur cheques and alway make sure ur getting properly paid. 

Great company to start when an apprentice to gain experience on the floor. Depending on location, walk in traffic can get busy. Great people to work with and very friendly environment!
