Sadly it’s the operations management that is the problem. They spout on about being a family, yet unless you’re in their clique, you are treated differently. You’re able to come in late, stand around gossiping without any repercussion. Plus the operations upper management likes to control and monitor everything you do, to the point that cameras are installed in the work areas, supposedly for security reasons though not one is aimed at the exit doors. I was waiting for the camera/audio devices to be installed in the offices like the ones in the US all viewed from a cell phone. 
The same management sets people up to fail and says they offer support but they don’t. If you’re vocal about needing help then they are dismissive and put more on you. Many great people work there and feel they cannot have a voice because they get shut down and are worried of the backlash. I’m not a bitter ex employee as I happily resigned just before management said they were terminating my employment on grounds that were lies.

The best part of working at the company is the supportive team environment and the opportunity to continuously learn and grow. Employees are trusted with responsibilities, and management encourages teamwork, quality work, and skill development. It is a great place to gain hands on experience and improve both technical and problem solving abilities.

The most stressful part is handling tight deadlines during busy times while making sure the quality standards are met.

The work environment is professional, friendly, and team oriented. Employees support each other, and the company focuses strongly on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day involves inspecting parts, checking quality standards, coordinating with production teams, and solving any quality related issues. The work is organized, fast paced at times, and focused on teamwork and accuracy.

Terrible place to work.  Management is focused on 6S Lean and is not at all technical.  Favoritism.  If you think for yourself, you will not be employed here long.  Everyone tries to protect themselves to the point they stab you in the back.  Lack of safety awareness, send you into the oilfield without proper safety gear such as H2s monitor, management didn't actually know what an H2s monitor is even though they were sending you out to sour well sites.  Units sent out to customer's without proper testing and evaluation.  Head aches for troubleshooting staff.  Over-all one of the worst places to work.  Very high staff turnovers which is a red flag.

Worked as Assembly Technician but most of the time my task were general labourer. I was even asked to mopped and clean the washroom. They do not give you in depth trainings. They will just asked you to watch other tech and they will expect you to know and perform the task right away. No training assessment. Team lead will just asked you to fill up training form and sign it. My most hated part is, team lead and supervisor will work for early overtime, do job orders on your designated line and they will not signed the documents. Instead they will leave it on your desk and you will be the one to sign it once youre already at work. If anything happens, the blame will be on you.  This is the worst practice in production floor.  Wage is not also reasonable since it is very low.

No Annual review. Need to keep asking if you want to ask for a raise

Work with or without pressure. Depends on the order

There is a lot of opportunity at Sirius Controls for those who are looking to advance there careers. If you are willing to go the extra mile management at the company was willing to put resources into training me. 

Overall a very good experience.

It doesn't matter how much you work. If they don't want you anymore, they will suddenly let you realize that you are not efficient

Horrible Employee Relationship & support.

Growing company with lots of opportunities to grow within.  I am fairly compensated and good benefits.  Would recommend employment to my friends.  Good training provided on the job.  Steady hours and a great team to work with.

Good to start experience work is staff training for new employees to help with their development skills in their own time frame as they work towards the end and then get the best out there to get them in front and back in front and out front to get the right person in the front office to get the best experience
