I've seen various people come and go because they couldn't catch on quick enough.  They offer training in orientation but after that the culture for you to really learn your job is not there. They have lunch and learn but that information is not always totally relevant to you.  Perhaps with contract people, they do not want to spend the time/money.  Lots of Gossip.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Having a "big firm" name on my resume.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with all the "getting in their own way" with everything from IT issues, gaps in the "training", to overall unnecessarily complicated procedures for simple, every day tasks.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's a team culture, but only when everyone commits to coming into the office each day. Get used to virtual team meetings......

As my position was entirely remote (work from home), I didn't feel a great sense of belonging. Meetings with my manager weren't regular, which probably contributed to this feeling. As a non-lawyer at a law firm, it was difficult to find colleagues with similar interests. Overall, the environment was alright, but could've been improved. I didn't mind the actual work, but a job should involve general enjoyment in other areas as well.

Good place to start your career to get some experience. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The lawyers don't care about you. They just care if the clients are taken care of or if they will get paid.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Boring, unorganized, messy, no communication

I worked here for over 5 years. The moral started to fade in the last couple years. I started working for a new lawyer who made my life miserable. I ended up hating coming into work. It’s a gossip hole. I told them I was pregnant as soon as I found out and I was fired. Although, they won’t say it was for that reason. Very unethical place.

A fast-paced work environment that is client focused.  There are tight deadlines so you need to be organized and know how to multi-task.  An enjoyable work environment with friendly co-workers.

This is a toxic workplace. The work life balance is non existent and management is downright abusive. Run the other way.

Human resources is simply in place to protect the higher ups.

They will work you to the bone with very little acknowledgement or reward.

If you love the law, this is the place to be.   Great managing partners and lots of room for advancement if you work hard.  Cannot recommend it enough.

Really enjoyed working here. Everyone is very nice and you feel like part of the family. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay because they were restructuring the department.

Prides itself on staying competitive with other companies - they're not. Far too little compensation for the immense workload. Cliquey, bullying, toxic environment,  but HR doesn't protect the employees.
