We start the day with tool box meeting, then plan what was not finished the previous day, and plan what should be scheduled  for the day. We always learn safety tips every day.We work as a team . My hardest part of the job is trying to define goal and stake holders interest during initiation and ensuring to meet them . Once this is done every other aspect are not too difficult. My most enjoyable part of the job is getting the job verified and accepted by sponsors and stakeholders

Work truly as a contractor.  As job ends your employment technically ends.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Start around 7 and end day around 5

I have worked with Site for 8 years and enjoyed my time with the company and co-workers alike. 
My duties at Site include
Dispatching mechanics to various work sites
Maintaining inventory levels
Ordering heavy equipment parts
Running heavy equipment when short handed in the field such as packers, rock trucks, loaders ect.

Working for Site Energy was a fun summer job.  I learned what work in the industry is all about, and learned many safe work practices. Management was very organized, and i never had a problem discussing any of my concerns.  I enjoyed working with everyone, and met alot of great people.  Hardest part was learning how to operate new machinery, but after practice it became easy then i expected.

Work varied widely in all areas of Oil Field Construction.  Company is vast with various divisions specializing in different aspects of Construction from Mechanical to Earth Works.

A day at work felt good knowing the experience was good. I've learned that when working with machinery isn't no funny business, when work needed to be done I got right to along with my co workers. but what was really hard about the job was the heat. but at the end of the day everyone was safe and the job was completed

Over all a decent company to work for. But quick to throw you under the bus if something may jeapordize there perfect picture they are trying to paint.  
They don’t care about you or anything you have going on in your life, if they arent making a good dollar off you they are quick to cut you loose without any notice what so ever

SITE gave me the opportunity to broaden my horizons by working me into the pipeline division and being a part of their experienced, skilled project teams. I was fortunate to work with many very knowledgeable, hard-working individuals who were always willing to help out no matter what day or time.

building leases building roads as well as various other construction related jobs. Threre is room for advancement, Wages are also proactive with experience , It was a good company with many benefits and opportunities.

typical day at work would be make sure to wear your PPE and pay attention to your surrounding be safe and ask someone if your not sure about somthing. we all want to get home safe at the end of the day
