Co-workers and local leadership.

Unclear and changing priorities. Lack of investment in equipment needed to do all jobs making daily operations challenging for front line staff.

Safety focused. Enjoyable work environment. Supportive at the local level. Fast paced. Sometimes unpredictable due to external circumstances.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Generally enjoyable. Busy. Warehouse environment.

Every areas are interesting,depends on your ability to work.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You're entitled to insurance, holiday pay, freedom of speech etc. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Excellent, the leads, supervisors to the ceo were all good people to work with. They know how to put everything in control. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Excellent,  the leaders know how to fix everything and put everyone in place with sense of humor.

You gotta build your own trolley, so many flights lives without catering ,very unprofessional ,you get no training, as on my experience i wored there for 3 day's in total first day they put me in trolley making and second day they literally gave me flights and told me to do it ,i had no idea what i was doing and some how i managed to do 3 flights out of four flights with passengers inside and 1 flight left without catering, who ever jouns make sure to ask for 40 hr training, and understand as it's not easy to work near big aircraft without proper training. 

It is a good place to work. Staff and Leadership are good. They try to listen to their staff as much as possible and make improvements based off everyones suggestions. 
Very relaxed culture, but when work needs to be done people put in the effort. Even the leadership. Haven't seen many places were the leadership is as on the floor working with everyone more then they are in their office. 


It was fun to work and it helps me to work fast and organized time management. I work afternoon shift I start at 3 pm and finish at 11:30 pm sometimes I have to stay because of the flights are delayed. What I do is they usually give every commissary builder 2 flights, one small and one big flight and there is a time and day that tells you when is that flight leaving so you have to finished that 2 flight for 8 hours.

Days can range from very exhaustive in the busy season to fairly slow in the offseason. You work in all conditions and flights never stop. If you like to be on the go this is a job for you.

I worked at sky cafe for a year at Calgary airport, but it was not what I thought , no way of advancement, Manager was hyper, will trick you on get things done, divided the staff, had some informer rats to rat out on fellow employees. I can’t say anything about this company

You can enjoy the work. Eventhough the salary is low when compared, I would like to worke there again if possible. Good team and good management. Not stressful work. Only probl;em is the early morning shifts stars between 12 am and 4 am according to the flight timings.

I had such a great time working here! Although the job itself is a bit hard and tiring, my coworkers were awesome and made my day go much smoother. The people that work here are very caring and are always willing to lend a helping hand.
