Constantly standing or moving around throughout shift, can be tiring but the time goes pretty fast. Enjoyable work environment due to friendly and talkative colleagues and customers. Fun to be around huge range of toys.
The management are typically pleasant, understanding and responsive, with the exception of a few individuals.
Given 1-hour breaks and further 20-minute breaks for longer shifts, located close to shops where lunch/hot drinks can be purchased.

I was Christmas Staff, so I was obviously thrown in at the deep end, so to say, but I never felt like I was drowning. People were always there to help and I was never made to feel stupid if I had to ask questions. The managers were lovely and so were all the permanent staff. There was always a friendly vibe, even on particularly busy and stressful days. The hardest part of the job was simply finishing so late sometimes but that isn't something I'd hold against them.

A great place to work, it’s graft and you get your steps in, management helpful and dig in when needed, overall a great place to work, gain skills in different areas, the only downside is temp contract which when covid hit again all the temps where let go. One of the best places I have worked for team work and support in 30 years of various jobs, would go back in a heart beat.

Its a decent place to work, if you've got a permanent job. I was a temporary worker that got let go for the stupidest reason known to man. It WAS my dream job, i was finally happy. then that happened.

a typical day would involve approaching customers, assisting as required, customer service/till work, on delivery days break it down price it and put on shelf or canopy

very fast paced workplace especially at christmas. need to work as a team aswel as alone. have to meet certain targets in certain areas of the shop eg. nursery, outdoor, software.

Worked in a friendly team of marketing professionals who were hard working and worked well under pressure.  Fast paced dynamic environment that was both thrilling and educational.

Great place to start any career. Had multiple roles here as I progressed my career after uni and would happily return. Great sports and social set up. 

good place to work and get to grips with working life i got along with everyone there and they made sure i settled in nicly i would recomend people to come work here
