My experince at soccer world was very short term, i felt i was constantly rushed on the job to the point where i would get in trouble for connecting with them. The training were just videos and i felt very micromanaged by the manager. Besides two staff members there were lots of staff that would come and go very frequently. I was hired as a seasonal sales assosiate but never informed of it so by the end of the season i just stopped getting schedualed and when i called to ask what was going on i was ignored. The hours were great and definantly had no negative on my outside of work lifestyle and it was an the customers were always so friendly and open.

There is no way to describe the minute intricacies of working with children at a camp setting other than through experience and time. A day at work starts long before your hours, as you must be sure that the curriculum you will be teaching throughout your shift is stuck to memory, or at LEAST notes. Management will greet you kindly, fully knowing that you will try your best, as anything less will really show when working with children. The hardest and most enjoyable part of this job is making your children smile, and that's why you should be signing up or applying.

I had a lot of fun working at soccer world, I also gained a lot of experience I worked with different kids and from the parents as well. I learnt to be patient with the kids, so it was easier for me and the kids. Another big thing I learnt is time management. I had to play about three to five games with the kids and also a couple of water breaks with a scrimmage all in about 50 minutes. Which is hard built after a couple of practices it became easier.

I worked here and had a horrible experience! I was not told about campers medical conditions and was also left alone with a number of campers that was way greater than the legal limit. Aside from a couple nice staff members, most are rude, and the environment is very cliquey. They are not welcoming to new staff members. Even some members of management were very judgemental and intentionally favoured returning staff over new staff. Very poorly run summer camp. 

It is a truly great place to work, and learn!  I have been trained so diligently, and have grown as a person so much from my time there!  There are great training programs, and I felt supported throughout the process!  I loved getting to know the customers too, and feel like i really added value to them!

This job was fun to be able to watch the sports I loved and being paid to do it. It was a very easy going job and you essentially just worked through and constantly kept track of games. Had about 5-10 minutes between matches to get your things together if you needed to.

Fun place to work if you enjoy soccer/working with children. Relaxed environment with little stress or politics. Regular schedule as you are running the same classes/games in the same days and times each week.

had great experience working in teams and splitting the tasks to finish removing the dome in time and then rebuilding the dome back up, took a lot of patience and hard work but was worth it

This job was wonderful. Wear sporty clothes for the interview, great pay, hours aren’t great. Super nice employees and managers. If you love working with children, this job is for you. Lots of options of coaching.
