Source Video was a fun and relaxed work environment. There were lots of interesting people coming into the store every day, co-workers all got along well, and while we were able to joke around and have fun we still maintained a certain professionalism. I learned abou handling cash and doing cash drops, managing floats, doing store inventory audits, and dealing with a variety of customers, some of whom could be quite the handful as we were open all night and had many intoxicated patrons. All in all I enjoyed this job although the management could have been a little more professional.

I worked there in 2018-2019 and during the time I worked there I was met with the most transphobic people and management I’ve ever worked with. I had to constantly correct my coworkers and managers that I wasn’t using my old name and was no longer using my old pronouns. They didn’t change the behaviour and even now when I go in to shop they misgender and deadname me, despite fully medically transitioning.

Source Adult was an alright place to work. My Manager was an amazing person and I had much respect for her. I enjoyed the job for the most part. the difficulties I had were primarily with the wage and how much I was expected to do for the pay I had. As well as the unsavory customers I had to deal with. It wasn't worth it for me in the end.

Was a great environment for me to be able to learn a management role and skills. Gave me enough autonomy that I felt like it was my store, never felt like I had a shadow hovering watching my every mistake.
Head office was very supportive when they were needed, always felt comfortable asking for help when it was needed.

I was the manager here for 14 months.  Reliable staff was hard to find. Alot of theft within store with staff and customers.  High priced items   general manager was nice at first then turned into a swear word

I enjoyed the job, but wished they paid more then the common hooker out back. Your work responsibilities entail as cashier, inventory, security, theft prevention, customer service, as well as seasonal decorator, general clean up,  all for the pay of $10.50 per hour.

This is not a good working environment. The management doesn't trust staff to even restock shelves at night. Great place to work if you're not looking for any job satisfaction. And an even better place if you like stroking management's ego.

a typical day at work was pretty boring a lot of cleaning and some days had very little customers I did learn about the items we carried I didn't really see my co workers very much except on shift change and at meetings

Source Adult Video was a no judgement workplace. People of any ethnicity and/or preferences are accepted. Long hours and a flexible work schedule allows for accommodating students.

Very understanding of family life and the people are a blast to work with. They train you in 2 shifts which is plenty of time to learn there easy to use computer system. Hardest part of the job are of course the creeps that come in to store.
