Good opportunity for someone seeking entry level or to gain experience. Pay is low and Not really opportunity for advancement. The company operates on a harm reduction model, so there are no consequences Or leverage for the workers to use with the youth who have outbursts or challenging behaviors. Management is supportive to the best of their ability.

An excellent workplace for people who want to make a difference in individuals lives and community involvement. The workday goes quickly because you are helping and active on shift, and there is usually a lot of variety involved so you are never bored on the job. The staff are nice, and the clients are very appreciative of the care they receive.

Don't get Trapped working for this company. No advancement,  low pay with no bonuses,  management takes advantage of staff. Clients are not cared for sufficiently. 

The process that SS uses to match up their clients with the most compatible worker are very client lead and that's what makes the job so easy. If it's second nature to maintain rapport with somebody you can focus on the clients goals and it's easier to support them.

Gives you the possibility to grow and build relationships. The staff are friendly as well as the clients are a joy to be around. If you have a passion and a career goal to work with persons with disabilities, this is the right place for you.

Employed 10+ years, Fantastic Co-workers and management. There is opportunities to advance in this company and as a employee,  you are treated with respect. 
The clients are fun to work with and support.  

Management has good intentions at heart and tries to over-deliver but due to harsh reality checks most of the accomplishments are mediocre .. still its a nice place to work 

I really enjoyed my time at Spectrum, though the pay was not enough to stay sadly. Many of the front line providers are excellent and the management did care about their clients. 

Spectrum Society is a great place to work. It is a place that provides very rewarding work, while letting you have a lot of freedom at the same time. You are able to create a lot of the days for clients based on their wants and needs.
