working for this company was daunting at times but i chose to tough.it out as i enjoyed my job.  A typical day usually started with a quick inventory to see if an order needed placement, a look at the schedule to see if all the employees were on time and ready to work. I was in charge-of all aspects of the kitchen and usually ended up being both front and back of house management, as the hotel managers were never around and there was no dedicated restaurant manager. The staff usually were very good, but as you may know working up north makes for some unreliable staff if they are looking . .for work in the oil field.
The more challenging parts of my job were managing both a kitchen staff and a Front Of House staff and being able to run the Point Of Sales system if it happened to go down.  The more enjoyable parts of my job were getting to people within the community, and taking care of patrons and making sure they had an enjoyable experience.

Prepare the janitor cart for the day, refill what needs to be refilled, pour in hot water for mopping. Sweep and mop: dining area, kitchen floors, bar floors, and all bathrooms in the main lobby, bar, and kitchen. Vacuum the main lobby, kitchen, dining area, bar, kitchen, and fitness room. Wipe down all of the workout equipment in the fitness room. 

The most enjoyable part of the job is working early in the morning and off early to enjoy the rest of the day. Management is very friendly, kind, and professional. I enjoyed cleaning in different departments in the hotel.

We start really early and end and 2 or 3 in the afternoon. I learned that its not an easy job on the back with lots of bending everyday.
Management is pretty good if you keep your rooms and hallways clean. The co-workers are friendly and easy too get along with. 
There's not really anything hard about this job except for a lot of bending. The enjoyable part is the breaks cause you get too sit and relax until we have to do it again.

I was hired by a young woman who basically asked me what I liked to drink and if I wanted to go out and get drunk with her and the other work girls. Everyone there talks behind your back, constant drama and poor management skills from all the management team from ever departed. Employees do drugs at work and constantly party and come in hung over. Gm claims to have an open door policy but she always stabs you in the back even after you quit

excellent no issues at all only at times long hours but still ok

Good work environment overall, with some bad egg as to be expected in any work place. Unfortunately many pieces of equipment were dated and not working properly. Management cared a bit more about the numbers than they probably should have, but they were very flexible with scheduling and there were many opportunities to advance and learn.

i start to worked as part time,after few months i worked as full time.ypu have to deal with different kinds of people especially with the staff,some is moody.they manage well,i like the GM,he's a nice guy.The one that I like is they have a staff party & bbq party every year.the worst part some of the staff are lazy.

Night audit is not for everyone.  I only worked there for a couple of months.  I quit because night audit wasn't for me.  Maybe if they didn't have the bar in the hotel, it would've been more tolerable.  Love the bar but working nights from Thursday-Saturday was a nightmare.   But, that's only my opinion.

Hardly anybody would help with the cleaning, stocking or backing each other up. They only cared about their click and smoke breaks. Nobody would FIFO the freezer or cooler and the staff would love to talk bad about other staff

No Overtime, short days, low wages, no raises, no holiday pay, management have no clue how to run a hotel or how to treat employees. Very dirty don't pay wages advertised.
