I felt that working at SBG was a lovely time over the summer. I worked as a Day Camp Counsellor. It was tons of fun and the staff were great to work with. Staff members were always encouraging and supported us when needed. I loved being a camp counsellor and working for the community :) - The only thing is the pay, which, working for the City of London unfortunately means minimum wage. 

Working at Storybook Gardens was a wonderful experience. It was so fun to work in an outdoor atmosphere with a supportive, organized staff team, and to engage with children and their families visiting the park. I would highly recommend this as a summer workplace!

My usual day at work was in concession, taking orders, making orders and sending orders. Concession had mold, rats and bugs. Management had no involvement. Very unsanitary in all concession buildings there.

great place to work! although there are many kids there, the people are amazing and management is alright. super laid back environment and would definitely recommend working there, also a plus is you can get a nice tan!!

Good place too learn the basics of cash handling, food service etc.
Very good place to work if you like people, but is weather dependent on shifts. Also nice if you enjoy kids!

Everyone I work with is amazing and kind, the people in charge are very approachable and open to suggestions, overall love working there. Sometimes scheduling can be a bit hectic but it always gets resolved

Day camp was a fun and enriching experience. Day-to-day problems provided practice solving issues on the fly and adapting to new and constantly changing situations.

A good place to work for students. They are accommodating to your schedule and will train you so you feel confident in your role. The pay was average but to be expected for a summer job.

there was no air condition in the kitchen, but the lunch room is air conditioned

Interesting environment and fun. Always around kids and amazing people. Sometimes it is difficult to get what the customers want. Really all they want is the best for their kids.
