You get to talk to the donors on the phone and connect with them on a personal level

Amazing staff friendly they rely help you improve to be a better fundraiser

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Enjoyable and gives a meaning to your everyday life because you are helping charities and talking to a lot of lonely people

shark mentality. you’re pushed to continue to try to fundraise people who all but tell you “i’m impoverished” or to go where the sun doesn’t shine.  probation is 3 months or 240 hrs (whichever is greater). bonuses don’t make it worth it. you’re reprimanded if you don’t try to gather money from people who expressly state they’re not going to give it to you. trainers and coaches are awfully rude and condescending. if you google the company and read those bad reviews it’s not hard to see why they have poor employee turnover. wouldn’t recommend; mentally draining and not worth it. life is too short. 

Evening working hours so make plans for the daytime.

Management is okay. One manager was rude and difficult, the other was nice and friendly.
Made great friends.
They watch your every move, timing your breaks and making sure you are there all the time. 
If you are a new employee don't expect security until you've been there for a year. When COVID happened everyone who worked there less than a year was laid off. We didn't have any contracts with them so we couldn't fight back.

For me, nothing actually. I was able to pick my hours which was the most important things.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Supervisors were not very hard to reach.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Working in a conducive environment (your home office) and paid 1 hour breaks broken into 3 parts.

Fundraising may be a tough job but the supervisors and managers at Stratcom are super supportive. They never give you attitude even when you ask for support multiple times. 
The quality assurance team are so polite and courteous. They will correct your mistakes in a positive way without making you feel like a failure and encourage you to keep going. 



Pay is fair if you’re working remotely from another province. 
Work can be very stressful but if you enjoy talking for long hours and convincing people, you might love it. 
Managers set unrealistic targets
They let you go without prior notice 

A workplace that is very ethical, professional and provides extensive training.  All employees were all screened, checked and bondable which made me feel very safe and comfortable.

Really grateful to have work here positive people, and earn some good experience. Would highly recommend any new recruit or somebody who is looking to get their feet wet to start here. Thanks guys see you out in the field.

Great place to work with support from management but they are more strict with call metrics and targets. Generally, it’s an ideal place to work and you tend to learn a lot on the job as you progress.

Great experience if your looking into call agent permanent positions, sitting for almost most of the shift, and constantly talking to individuals, learning experience on how to manage people over the phone
