•Provided high-level administrative and client-related assistance to the CEO and senior executives
•Coordinated AGM, Board of Trustees, Senior Leadership offsite and internal meetings
•Assisted in the preparation of all materials/documents relating to AGM, Board, Committees
•Reported insider trading with SEDI in compliance with Canadian securities legislation
•Collaborated with outside communications company regarding press releases, stake holder 
correspondence and other communications documentation
•Executed legal agreements and branch contracts
•Managed and ordered all printed materials and maintain relationship with outside printing house
•Organized various company social activities and fundraising activities ranging from Open House Day for employees’ families, United Way campaign, Christmas luncheons for staff

Complete any new machine rental/purchase contract and vendor bids, inventory report, purchase orders, payment processing, vendor spec. builds of Volvo Machines, incoming and out going calls from sales team, vendors, clients.

Schedule all transport and service work
Inventory report - Canadian Locations (machine & attachments)
Renew any contracts for rental that are close to expiring.
meeting with sales managers to review any tasks to be completed and status review
Alberta Connection bid review and disburse to sales team to contact lead

I really enjoyed working for Strongco, it was a fast paced environment where I learned alot, there was always something to do and many people with great experience to learn from.

Strongco purchased our company without inquiring into the nature and complications of the business. It was a corporate accounting purchase.
There was no interest in the employees After a few years they fired everybody and closed the Forklift Division leaving leaving all us life-timer types without jobs.

The result was a very tense atmosphere. Even if sales went up they wanted more and more sales.

My branch was a great place to work, service manager and the other mechanics were very knowledgeable and more than accommodating in sharing that knowledge with me. The issue always seem to come from head office and their continued lack of support. That being said, I enjoyed my time with the company.

Good place to work until new company took over and got rid of most higher paid employees.Needless to say i was one of 9 that got let go.Learned lots of jobs and had lots of friends at work and great people to work with.The hardest part of the job was slugging steel all day.

Management is unqualified and extremely rude, if you’re not part of the “in crowd” you’re doing a lot of other people’s work. 
They also say they apply from within but I’ve witnessed several qualified employees who were filling in for a job be passed over for new people.

I LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT WORKING IN A CORPORATE OFFICE AND DEALING WITH THE HEAD OFFICE 
ADMINISTRATION.

I WAS TRAINED ON MANY LEVELS WITH DIFFERENT 
TYPES OF SOFTWARE PROGRAMS AND LEARNED SO MUCH 
FROM THIS ENTERPRISE.

- Strongco has great long term team members located in the Alberta region.

- Purchased by NORS Group out of Portugal, which has been a net-positive

- Good work-life balance and great pay

- Would be nice if the company was country-wide, instead of segregated in different pockets 

- Service team in many of branches are A+

Upper management here treat the administrative staff very poorly, you are not respected or recognized for any contributions that you make to this company.  The pay range does not reflect the current market trends and the work load increases consistently.

If it weren't for such poor management, this company probably wouldn't be so bad to work for. Overall work culture is stressful/negative due to management.
