Over a period of 2 months, there wasn't a feeling of being a part of the team. Staff is very private and unhappy and chatter amongst themselves about complaints of management roll.  Certain teachers were very unprofessional with students; disheartening to see students being yelled at in unprofessional manner and made to feel uncomfortable.  Very underpaid within the administrative and librarian roll.  Administrator promised higher income but didn't follow through or communicate to improve the income.  All around, the building feels as though its unhappy and not a welcoming place to be.

What is the best part of working at the company?
It's wonderful IF you can afford the gas, Super Rude kids at some schools, AND the occasional Psychopath principal. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You can do a great job 99% of the time, and they ignore you. But if the wrong principal "decides" you made a mistake, you should look for another job, fast.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Usually great, staff and students.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Great, aside from rude kids that gaslight you.

I currently work in a program that focuses on the development of our most vulnerable children with complex needs. In my classroom assignments I've had the wonderful opportunity to participate in collaborative teams of colleagues and other youth and adolescent health/education professionals.  I work under extremely sensitive, confidential and dramatically changing situations with grace, intelligence and professionalism.

Easily the most pleasant work place I have ever had the pleasure of being employed by. Great benefits plan and summer pay, unfortunately being paid hourly will shoot you in the foot due to the amount of days off in the school calendar. Great place for someone that does not need the money but unfortunately I am not that person.

I really enjoy it at Namao school. The leadership roles in this school are open to hearing any concerns that staff have and make themselves available to talk or assist you with challenges. They have a positive attitude towards all of the students and staff. Most of the co-workers are kind and friendly people. 

Administration seems to change frequently. Cliquey atmosphere and extremely low pay. Amazing benefits coverage and good work/life balance with the hours, but not a job you can work if you aren't in a double income household. 

I worked at Sturgeon during a transition period, all of IT left shortly before I did. It was a great environment but a great deal of changes during my time there as IT became more and more restricted on what we could do. Overall a great place to work, just not the best time period to work there.

the ladies are amazing at this job. they support me and help educate me in the job field. I've done this job for years now and I'm ready to move on. I need more hours that they can offer.
