To begin with, they hire you for one position, but you end up doing +1000 other tasks that are not associated with your role for exactly same pay + no aprecciation at all. 
Management never appreciates your achievements or when you go above and beyond for them taking extra shifts to cover someone. 
Also, forget about holidays at all, as even if you made favors for them, they will never do one for you, and even if you request off in advance, they might reject it a few days before, while you already planned something. 
One of the managers literally crossed al boundaries and made me and 3 other workers cry multiple times, I ended up having anxiety every time I go to work .
If possible, avoid this workplace tbh.

Working there I felt like the company takes advantage of the staff. They offer you a full-time job but you dont get full time hours unless they are short-staffed. Be prepared for OnCall shifts. They pay the minimum wage for a very stressful job. 
Also, you just get a break if you ask to because they almost never tell you to go on break (and usually you don't get your legally paid break). The food is great but you are allowed to have only a few options ( the cheap stuff). 
There are no benefits, even if you go out to eat at the restaurant you don't get any discount.

Terroni has definitely been one of the best companies I have ever worked for. The work environment it’s amazing, your coworker are wonderful people and your managers / supervisors are super supportive and always looking for ways to help you grow. The food is amazing and you get staff discount on retail items! They just open two new locations grocery style and buying authentic Italian groceries there is the best. 

I thoroughly enjoyed my time working at Sud Forno. I found that management and my coworkers were incredibly kind and welcoming - I still remain in touch with many of coworkers now and consider them to be some of my best friends. 

The pace as a FOH worker was often very fast, but nothing that was not manageable as everyone on staff had separate roles to perform. Everyone was willing to help each other, which made rare stressful occasions much more relaxed.

Very poorly managed. Hours were extremely inconsistent. Most shifts are on-call, so you only have 1-2 hours notice. Some weeks your are expected to work 10+ hours more than you were hired to, and other weeks you end up getting less than 8 hours in total. They are very sketchy about pay checks and definitely do not pay staff enough. The management is extremely rude and promotes a toxic work environment.

Management is hopeless. I worked here when the location first opened, and the environment was aggressiveness thinly veiled behind a "fake nice" exterior. I often felt as though I were being talked down to, or made to do menial tasks outside of my job duties.

Salary wasnt that enough for my expenses. I have worked for 2 years and I find it hard for the managers to give some opportunities to grow and move up.

its a good place to start from scratch here in Toronto, but is just to get  the experience, knowledge and abilities to work in the restaurant industry.

staff is friendly and its a nice place to work at 
never worked at a restaurant so learned a lot of skills 
it was a tiring job because you have to constantly work and breaks are minium

Don't work here if you value yourself. Management will gossip about you to other staff, yell at you in front of customers, and do anything just to make your life harder.
