I’ve been working almost 20 years, I have experiences in different countries, different positions, different industries. I live in Canada for 2,5 years and working in Sutton Group Halifax for a year, every single day I am grateful that I found that job and they hire me. They teach you new things every day, sometimes they teach you the things you learned and forgot already. It’s so professional and friendly environment, they do care work-life balance. You meet wonderful people everyday so remarkable networking opportunities for real estate. Salary is absolutely fair and on time. And any promises given is kept.  I can’t even believe my words while writing but everything is perfectly well here. Sutton Group Realty Halifax turned my professional career perception into the possibilities that I never thought they were real. 

A typical day at work would be checking your email and voicemail messages, responding to any urgent messages, and prioritizing your to-do list for the day. After that, you will start updating the calendar for the agents you support, making sure all appointments, showings, and meetings are appropriately scheduled and organized. From time to time, you will check in with the agents you support, making sure they have everything they need for their appointments and meetings for the day. Meanwhile, you will also work on administrative tasks, such as creating and updating property listings, preparing contracts, and completing paperwork for transactions, as well as invoices and payments.

I love working at Sutton Group, But unfortunately there are not enough hours to go around. My days usually contain some ads and a lot of phone calls. we do listings on torontomls.net, I support the agents and brokers in their needs and make sure all there requests are met. My co-workers are wonderful, its like my second home, everyone is friendly and cooperative. The hardest part is trying to get listings onto our website, of course, we need to do minimal mistakes as possible. The most enjoyable part is the atmosphere, overall the workplace and people make it worthwhile.

On the job is an experience working in different homes in Toronto. Owners looking to buy or sell homes or people looking for a place to live. Seeing the social dynamics of interpersonal relationships in respect to home evaluations and price of the home, owners are sometimes agreeable or outright unrealistic about their expectations.   The most enjoyable part was working closely to the Realtor, in this close Nelson Campos. For him it is a day at the office so to speak, delivering flyers, open houses, listing presentations.

In the few weeks since I was hired by this company I was asked to complete an illegal two-day ‘working interview,’ worked 34.5 hours without being signed to a contract, was directly exposed to Covid-19 after the boss contracted by attending a large indoor gathering and put on lockdown for two weeks without pay, wasn’t properly trained and then humiliated by the boss in front of a coworker.

Started working and had to scan all kinds of leases into the computer system because the company was trying to go paperless, that was basically my job as well as answering the telephone. I would also work 1 weekend a month the saturday and sunday and catch up on all the work I didn't get a chance to finish during the week.

I learned a lot about real estate working there.  I worked every other weekend and Wednesday evenings for 2 years. Unfortunately they had to make some cut backs and I was let go. I was responsible for answering phones, paging agent, calling vendors and booking appointments,

Checked daily schedule, followed up on customers from previous day, updated data base, made appointments for showing homes, bookkeeping. Enjoyed working with people, and had flexible schedule.

They are very supportive in helping you succeed and learn as a new realtor but also give you room to breathe. They gave me signs, and we're very patient as I learned and grew my business. I am very grateful for them.
