While the employees are great, management needs to see the flaws in the way they train employees. 

After four weeks you're expected to know and understand everything. When you ask questions or seek clarification multiple times they don't adapt their style of teaching. 

Your work load will be immense and thankless, if you make mistakes you will be blamed. Days are frustrating and overwhelming, especially when you show promise. 

Management does not take kindly to criticism and doesn't seem to want to learn or grow. Timelines are tight and you're expected to meet them without complaint. 

This position is not meant for anyone creative, the office space is drab and grey with no windows. 

Don't expect to advance, there's no room for growth here.

Overall atmosphere does not leave you feeling good at the end of the day. If you are part of the family, or related in anyway then you'll get treated like gold and have chances to advance, but if you aren't, well then you won't. 

If you are a graphic artist you won't get much training, basically minimal before being handed a pile of stuff and have to just figure it out. And you'll be doing non-graphics related work too like estimating costs, entering order information, accounting tasks, counting inventory, or even sorting orders in the warehouse.

Management doesn't stand up for staff if there is a customer complaint, even if the customer is 100% wrong you'll still get blamed and shamed.

Everything seems okay until you realize all the problems hiding just beneath the surface. As an Account Manager, I spent the bulk of my time apologizing to clients for screwed up or late orders. The commissions we were supposed to get paid never came despite constant promises they would. I waited months to get paid and it never happened. Thousands lost (and yes I have proof). There Account Manager turnover rivals that of a fast food restaurant. Reps go out the door constantly for the same reasons.

It’s a faced-paced environment, but I enjoy it.  It’s a great place to work!

My co-workers are great and management listens and cares about their employees.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Dealing with customers, using my expertise to help advise on which product is best for their needs and budget.

Litzens was an overall great company. It was my first endeavour with sales and customer interaction. The management was very relaxed and with this I was able to learn the ins and outs of the business quite effectively. It gave me the baselines of being a salesmen and and to have strong customer interactions. The hardest part of this job was to learn individual codes for products, and that came with repetition of use. the most enjoyable part of the job was being able to be in a sports environment (as an athlete) and sell products that I was interested in myself.

I agree with the 2 prior postings from Graphic Artists on here. There is no training protocol. You are walked through the process once and told to write it down. Then you are thrown to the wolves. Management is no help if you struggle. There response is 'I showed you how to it'. Of the 4 graphic designers there, the longest tenure was 12 months. Shows you the revolving door. Bad place. And dont call it a Graphic Artist role. It isnt.. No creativity at all. Cut and paste and work the online ordering system. Not worth the drive. 

I can literally say that I enjoy coming to work everyday.  The people are knowledgeable and great to work with.  Management is understanding and listen to what you have to say.  There are many long term employees that work for the company (in all areas of the company) and I can understand why.  Management often promotes from within the company, which is why so many people stay with the company.  It’s all around a great company and a great place to work.

Not a comfortable and fun place to be. First they tell you that you'll have the training, then after 4 weeks they start telling you that you work too slow. Then if you'll work faster (and by faster I mean that for creating the Logo from  0 you can't spend more than an 1 hour!!!) and make some mistakes because you're new it's your fault again.
 The worse company I worked in. And the "Great Team" around you just don't care

Great place to work as a warehouse associate. T. Litzen Sports has a fast-paced but supportive environment, and the team is easy to work with. The job keeps you active, the work is consistent. Solid experience overall and a good workplace if you enjoy staying busy and being part of a team.

Majority of co-workers were great, I noticed a high turnover rate initially. Most enjoyable part of the job was helping the kids receive their toys, along with supporting schools, leagues, and individuals on a daily basis. Management was indirect and condescending at times.
